A/N: Before you read: I wrote this about 2 months ago and thought, 'What the hell, I'll post it.' I honestly don't think it's good, but whatevz.

Nicky was laying down on the couch lazily, flipping through the channels. 'Nothing good is on..." she thought to herself, sighing. Suddenly, she heard a light tapping sound come from the kitchen window. "Hm?" She sat up, looking at said window only to see a brown and black owl with a letter in it's beak. Getting up, Nicky walked over to the window, openingit so she could recieve the letter the bird carried. The owl handed her the letter and flew off as soon as Nicky opened it. "I wonder..." She never finished her sentence for her excitement was too great when she read the parchment of paper.

"Platform 9 3/4," Nicky whispered to herself, glancing at the bricks. The sixteen year old had no idea what she was supposed to do now that she was just standing there, not understanding how there could be a 3/4 platform.

A family of redheads walked past, stopping about a meter away from her. "Off you go," an older looking woman said. Nicky suspected that was their mother. "You first George, Fred," she continued, patting the twin's backs. They looked around Nicky's age. Maybe she's get a chance to befriend them on the train. Before Nicky knew it, she saw the two twins charge towards the brick wall. What in the world were they doing? Then they disappeared.

"What the..?" She watched as the rest of the family of redheads ran through except their mother. The woman looked over at Nicky, seeing her confused look. Walking over to the teenager, she smiled. "Just run right inbetween those signs," she hinted before walking away. Nicky nodded, taking in a deep breathe. "Alright, you can do this Nicky." She began to run, closing her eyes in fear that she would just hit the wall and fall, looking like a complete idiot.

When she didn't feel a hard impact, she opened her eyes slowly, noticing she was in a different section of the station she'd never seen before. She looked at the station number, seeing it read "9 3/4". The train even said something about Hogwarts. This must be it. It had to be it.

Again, she spotted the redheads. They were just boarding the train, as was everyone else. 'The train must be leaving soon,' Nicky thought. Quickly grabbing her things, she ran over to the train, getting on.

Minutes later after she gave the lugage person her things, the train began to move. Walking around, trying to find a compartment to sit in, she noticed most of them were already full. The only one she found that wasn't completely full was the one with the twins and another boy. Opening the door, she peeked her head in. "Um, may I sit with you guys? All the other compartments are full," she asked, she voice a little quiet.

Both the twins smiled, saying, "Sure," in unison. They were sitting across from each other. One of them moved over a little and patted the space next to him. She sat down next to him, nodding her thanks.

"I'm Fred," the twin next to Nicky said, grabbing her hand lightly and shaking it.

"And I'm George," said the other, taking her other hand and kissing it, winking at her playfully. "The more charming of the Weasley twins," he joked.

"You only wish," she heard Fred say as the other boy introduced himself as Lee.

"Nicole. Nicole Summers. It's a pleasure to meet all of you," she smiled shyly. "Though you guys can call me Nicky if you'd like. I don't really fancy the name Nicole."

"Nice to meet you too," the twins said in unison.
