Disclaimer: I don't own ghost hunt and the main idea for this one comes from Evil-Kitty-Kat-666's An ABC of Ghost Hunt with her permission. Enjoy.

Mai's high pitched scream sounds from the waiting room, bringing Naru out of his office. He stops his charge upon hearing a short choked off sound and turns to see a particular monk sitting, facing away from him, on the couch.

His eyes narrow before he continues on towards the brown-haired figure now hugging the corner of the room. His jaw clenches upon seeing the distress plainly written on her features.

"Mai, what's wrong?" Naru asks.

In response, she comes forward and grabs onto his arm. "There's a huge cockroach on my desk!" she screeches pointing vaguely towards the said surface behind him.

Turning he looks down at the desk and scans its surface until his eyes fall on a large, currently stationary, cockroach. Moving closer-trailing Mai along behind him still clutching onto his arm-Naru's eye brows scrunch together as he realizes that something's off. The bug still hasn't moved. Reaching out, he grabs up the intruder. "You idiot," Naru says with an exasperated sigh turning back to her, "making such a fuss over a plastic bug."

"What!?" Mai exclaims in utter shock and disbelief. "Let me see that," she demands letting go of his arm to reach out for the unmoving specimen in question.

Obediently, he holds it out to her and she takes it from him. She stares at it a moment and then looks up at the oddly-serious-looking Monk. "You!" she accuses sternly. Her expression now filling with anger, she raises her clenched hand to strike and steps towards him. Naru stops her forward progress before she can actually attack the stupid monk. In her remaining disgust and anger, she hurls the thing at the now laughing monk. "That's so not nice."

"Happy April Fools Day," the monk responds with a grin.

I know it's short. Hope you enjoyed it. Please review.
