Garnet was in the temple meditating, looking into possible outcomes of the future. Of course Steven got hurt. Alot. Garnet chuckled to herself. Her chuckling was stopped abruptly by another rather horrific vision. Suddenly there was a loud scream….
… a scream they all heard.
Pearl and Amethyst carefully rushed into Garnet's room. Steven quietly followed as the crept upon Sapphire with a dead lymph and Ruby kneeling over her crying. Sapphire whispered something into Ruby's ear, kissed her on the forehead, then retreated to her gem.
"She's gone…" whispered Ruby
"Ruby, she'll be back as soon as you know it…." Pearl said shyly
"What're you doing in here? LEAVE NOW!" Ruby angrily pushed them both out and closed the temple door.
Ruby's POV
"Oh no she's gone what am I gonna do? I'm freaking out! WHAT DID SHE TELL ME?!"
Suddenly then Ruby rubbed her forehead. And remembered…
"She said… she... said… d-don't look forward! THAT'S IT! She gave me future vision! YES,, FOR THE FIRST TIME I GET TO SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SAPPHIRE, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO US!"
"Wait but… why would she give me future vision if she said don't look forward?"
"C'mon think, think… I GOT IT. There has to be some way to use my future vision to look backwards! Since Sapphire has been in control most of the time I could see some of the things I missed. But I would need the mirror, and Lapis escaped…"
"Sapphires gem… Now gotta find that mirror!
