Misunderstood Predicament
It wasn't very lady-like but she didn't care, the man she loves, was kissing someone else.
' I should have known. He has never loved me, and could never love. Oh Goddesses! Why did I fall for someone who will never love me?' Thought Zelda, Crown Princess of Hyrule.
She didn't care if she tore her tailor-made gown, or broke her ankle, or even passed out from running, because she saw Link kissing his long-time best friend, Ilia, in Ordon Spring. She could hear Link yelling, but she couldn't understand what it was because of the tears welling in her eyes.
- A Few Hours Later at Lake Hylia -
"Zelda? ZELDA! Where are you?" Screeched Link at the top of his lungs, worried sick about the Princess, his Princess.
"STAY AWAY, LINK! I DO NOT WISH TO SPEAK TO YOU OR EVEN LOOK AT YOU!" Bawled Zelda
"You don't have to answer me or even look at me, but at least listen." Begged Link, hoping to get a response of some sort.
Zelda let out a short grunt before responding with a "Fine."
"What you saw between Ilia and I means nothing to me, okay? After she kissed me, I heard some bushes shake and I thought I should see what was hiding. Next thing I know, I saw you running. I told Ilia that I love her, but as a sister only. She apparently
loves me like a boyfriend. I have only one love and, you may hate me to hell, but your my only love, Zel! Can you forgi-."
Link was cut short by Zelda holding him in a tight embrace and not easing up any.
"Link! I'm sorry I misunderstood ,and I'm sorry that I doubted you, Link. I love you, too!"
"Your my princess, Zelda, forever."
"Forever. And your my furry wolf, Link, forever."
"Forever."
They sealed there relationship with a kiss under the Twilight.
