So this is my first InuYasha fic. I was really bored and this is one of my fave animes so I thought 'What the heck'

I dont own InuYasha, but a girl can dream.

InuYasha, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Koga stared at the ground in shock. Lying on the ground in front of them was Kagome's body. She had suddenly collapsed while they were walking and she still hadn't gotten up.

"Kagome?" InuYasha said. He knelt down and shook her shoulder. "Kagome? KAGOME!" His voice got louder and louder. He was shaking her shoulder as hard as he could but she still wouldn't move.

Sango and Miroku knelt down beside him. They checked for a pulse.

"Her skin's as cold as ice." Miroku said. "She isn't breathing either."

"And she doesn't have a pulse." Sango added sadly. "I- I don't think Kagome's with us anymore.

"No. NO!" InuYasha yelled. "She can't be dead. This is Kagome we're talking about." By now everyone was crying. None of them could believe it.

"Are you sure?" Shippo asked. Kagome was like a sister or a mother to him and he was extremely upset.

Sango and Miroku nodded sadly. Kagome was like a sister to them as well.

"We should bury her." Koga said. "If anyone deserves to be properly buried… Its her." Even though she wasn't his women he still loved her like a sister.

InuYasha remained silent. He had fallen in love with her and had been meaning to tell her for a long time. Now he never could. Kagome's death was a hard blow to him.

Suddenly there was a blue glow coming from behind them. They all turned around to see Kagome. She was almost transparent and there was a blue-ish aura surrounding her. Her spirit.

"Hi guys." She said her voice barley a whisper. "I'm sorry I had to leave. Now I want to say my final goodbyes before I pass on."

She went to Miroku first. "Miroku," She said. "You were like a brother to me. Even if you did some… disrespectful things to women, you were still one of my closest friends." Tears continued to fall from the monk's eyes

She moved on to Sango. "You've always been like a sister to me Sango. You were one of my best friends ever." Sango nodded tearfully.

Kagome then went to Shippo. "Shippo, you were like my little brother in this world. If I could I would show you the real world like you wanted me to." The fox demon sniffed and started to cry again.

"Koga," She said. "I loved you like a brother. Nothing more. Even though I didn't see you as often as the others you were still one of my best friends." Koga tried to keep his composure but it wasn't going well.

Finally, she reached InuYasha. He looked at her. "InuYasha," Kagome had started to cry. "Of all the people I will miss you the most. I- I loved you. Not as a brother. Something more." Now InuYasha had a few tears falling down his face. He had given up trying to act tough and let them fall.

"I-I love you to Kagome. I'll miss you." He said sadly. He looked up at her as she came closer to him. She placed her lips on his. InuYasha could feel the love in the kiss. It ended all too soon.

Kagome's form shimmered. "I have to go. My spirit can't last much longer in this world," She said, obviously sad. "I'll be waiting for you all on the other side. Goodbye." And with that she disappeared.

Everyone took her body and began to give her the proper burial. InuYasha placed a bouquet of flowers on the grave and read the inscription.

Here lies Kagome. She was a caring girl, a strong fighter, and an amazing friend. She will never be forgotten.

After everyone left they came to the grave everyday. They would often bring offerings and gifts. When they all passed on to the other side, Kagome was waiting for them with open arms.

Awww... Now I'm sad. And it doesn't help that I just read another character death fic. TT . TT

See Ya
