She tried to ignore his presence as she typed, preferring to continue her works undisturbed. She didn't know why he booked one hotel room for both of them instead of getting separate ones. He had said something about not having enough money, but she was pretty sure he was lying through his teeth, since she knew as well as he did that he had enough cash.
She didn't talk to him much, she was just another associate of the phantom troupe. She apparently had good nen abilities, but she preferred to write her stories. She couldn't say she really cared about nen anyway, it really just seemed like something you had to be lucky to get anyway.
Hisoka leaned, back to the wall, watching her with his piercing yellow eyes. She was able to tune out his presence until he pushed himself off of the wall and made his way to her bed.
She turned to face away from him, before realizing her mistake.
"Whatcha writing?"
No, not those dreaded words! And now her laptop screen was facing him so he could read it!
She stuttered, "J-just a book."
"Just a book?"
She closed the laptop and covered her lap nervously with blankets, "Yes, just a book."
"Just a book," he affirmed
"Just a book," she mumbled, covering herself in the sheets waiting for him to pop the other dreaded question.
"Well can I read it?"
I hate my life so much right now.
