K,another one of weird ficcies...^^;; alright this is one of my first Threads of Fate ficcie,so plz if you have flames don't be so hard on me....and well i picked Rue/Mint as my subject...cuz well there so few of them out there..And keep in mind a couple of years passed.

Rue's POV
Oh god she is beautiful.Her sleek,slender form makes her appear athletic to all people,because she is.Her fiery red eyes remind me of rubies.Those scarlet red stones,that remind me of her.Now that I've noticed,everything always reminds me of her.Her scarlet eyes,wine-red hair,slender body,and appealing personality.She always makes me so shy,makes me feel so damn nervous.She's sleeping now,we were camping out looking for 'treasure' as she puts it.I couldn't let her go by herself,so I insisted on accomanying her.Bad move.After staring at her for so long,I can't keep my eyes off her.Long eyelashes closed,hair spreading across her back.I don't know what made me,but I wanted damn so badly to touch her face.Unable to hold it anymore,I quietly walked up to her and placed my ungloved hand on her face.Silky smooth skin made contact with my rough bruised skin.I brushed my hand across her cheek,and shivered.She's so warm,and well..I'm not."Rue ?"a small voice replied.I snapped my eyes open.Damn."Yes,Mint ?" I replied swearing under my breath."Damn your hands are cold.."she replied scrunching up into a ball.I relaxed.She was still half sleeping,or I wouldn't be so lucky.Sighing,I went back to my spot,and prepared for a long night of dreams.
Mint's POV
Oh Rue.Stinking,rotten,damn ass cute.Why the hell did I fall for him ? We all started out fine as enemies,kicking each other's ass.Then that time I had to screw up.Whiling I was traveling to the Underground Ruins,I chased Duke&Belle back up to the surface for taking the tiara I found.When I reached the surface,I found my nightmare.That stinking monster had to come back !!!! Running for the hell of my life,I dashed up those damned long stairs.When I made it up there,that freaking monster still didn't give up !!!! Gasping,I crouched and covered myself and waited for the worst.Nothing came.Peering from my spot,I saw Rue hovering over me.He had slain the monster !!
Giving my thanks,I returned back to Carona.But after that,I couldn't stop thinking about him.In my dreams,my fantasies,my EVERYTHING !!!
"CLAIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed a voice in darkness."What the bloody hell...."replied Miny groggly."CLAIRE !!!!! yelled Rue,snapping full face up."Rue ? whats wrong ?" said Mint,sitting herself beside Rue."Claire......I saw her on the floor,blood all over her...."he had horror written all over his face."Awe,come on Rue,you know too well that she is alive and well in Carona"Mint replied reassuringly."I know...but still it was so horrible..and real..."Rue said.Mint nodded.She knew how he felt.It must have been terrible,seeing a loved one hurt."Rue,its alright"she told him."But it was so real !!!!" he exclaimed.Acting quickly,and without thinking,Mint planted a firm kiss on his lips,and mumbled,"not as real as this...."
