Notes: Well, I thought it was time to play my hand at a Chi-chi and Goku fic. If I don't die of heat exhaustion first. Ugh it's so hot here. *Hurries up and writes fic before collapsing from to much heat*
Disclaimer: I do not own Dragonball Z or any of its characters. Although it would be a pleasure if I did.

Chi-chi lay silently and unmoving in their bed as he gently laid down pulling the covers over himself. Carefully trying not to wake her from her sleep, although she was already awake waiting for him for hours at a time.
He had been up bright and early eating the breakfast she had cooked and was out the door to spar with Vegeta until lunchtime to come home for not even fifteen minutes to wolf down his lunch, with not even a "thank you". The only other time she would see him was a brief confrontation at suppertime before he was out the door with Gohan to work on his techniques, much to her dismay. Then he would come in late at night sneaking in so as not to disturb her sleep.
He truly had no appreciation for her, she was just there to cook his meals and clean his house. She wasn't even good enough to be a bed warmer for Kami's sakes! The last time he had touched her in a sexual manner had been when Gohan was about two and that's only because she had invoked it. It had been three years since he had made love to her and she was beginning to feel undesired.
Letting a few tears slip from her closed eyes Chi-chi remembered what special acasion that today had been. It had been their anniversary and he had not even given her a small peck on the cheek or any sign of remembrance or caring. Goku had always been unaffectionate, never hugging or kissing her like a husband should, and never once in all their married years had he told her that he loved her.
Maybe she wasn't a good wife or mother. Maybe that's why her only child and husband were always running off to train or fight. Trying to get away from her. She had tried, she really had, to be what they needed and give them what they needed. But she just didn't know how much longer she could keep trying.
She was still in her late twenties but she acted much older and was starting to look it to. Always wearing the baggy clothing and hair always tied up in a tight bun.
Tomorrow she would reinvent herself. Go shopping, and maybe get her hair styled. Smiling to herself Chi-chi quickly fell asleep. Maybe her husband would finally think of her the way a real husband should.
Notes: It was just a short Vignette I came up with. Oh and please review.
