Chapter 1
"Are we there yet?" Elena's son Blake asked from the back seat as his sister, Marissa pinched him to get him to shut his trap.
"Ow! Mom! Marissa pinched me !"
Sighing Elena put her blinker on, pulling up to the curve and putting the car in park as she turned around to her children, who were now looking t her wide eyed because they knew if she ever put the car in park than they knew she had had enough and they were now in trouble.
"Listen I know that you two are tired and so am I, but I really need you two to behave or else I'm going to lose it and then we'll never get there."
They nodded in agreement as Elena started the car back up and drove to there new house.
When they pulled up to their new house, the kids ran out of the car and headed towards the door as Elena took the sight of it in. a small yellow house laid before her with a white picket fence to match. She smiled broadly as she imagined her life here. She had to admit that it looked pretty bright.
"Come on mom." Blake said racing to the house as Elena followed feeling like good things were to come.
