Learning to Forgive

Ch.1

Summary- Haley and Nathan are still not together, Lucas and Nathan are not mad at each other and Brooke and Lucas are finally exclusive. Also Jake got Jenny back and him, Jenny and Peyton are living together.

Before Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends

It was a sunny afternoon and school was over for Thanksgiving break. The Tree Hill cheerleaders were having practice no that's a lie they were watching the basketball team practice. So they were sitting there watching the guys sweat when Haley got a crazy idea and as soon as practice was over she would go through with it. Finally after an hour and ½ Whitey finally blew the whistle which means the end of practice. So Haley walked up to Nathan who was talking to Skills and Lucas and kissed him it was a short sweet kiss that meant a lot to both of them. Haley pulled away and walked of with a smirk on her face not daring to turn around to see his reaction. They three guys stood there shocked that Haley was brave enough to do that.

Later that day

Haley said bye to Lucas, Brooke, Peyton and Jake who were going to New York for the long weekend. They begged her to go but she simply refused by saying "There is no way I'm going to spend 4 days shopping with Brooke"

When she finally walked back into the apartment and closed the door she let out a relieved sigh. Then came a soft knock on the door and before Haley could see who was at the door she could feel his lips on hers. It was a soft sweet kiss that meant more than words could describe. When they broke apart all Nathan could muster was a "Wow". Haley just stood there shocked at what just happened and then she could feel his lips on hers again. She pulled him into the house and after 15 more minutes of making out she finally pulled away.

Haley- Nate what just happened?

Nathan- Hales what happened was when you kissed me all the memories came flooding back and I realized I can't live without you.

Hales- Nathan you have no clue how much this means to me

And with that she jumped in his arms and hugged him and at that moment they both realized this marriage will not only work out but last "Always and Forever"
