'thoughts'

I watched in disgust as the third person today stared chatting away with Sonny. These people are sick. I could just feel them trying to peel away her clothes with their eyes. I had to force myself to turn away to avoid the urge of ripping their heads off.

"Jealous much?"

I peered over to find Portlyn grinning very smugly at me. "CDC, the greatest actor of our generation, does not get jealous," I scoffed at her, trying to hide from further embarrassment. "I'm just simply observing," my voice cracked. 'Damn...'

"Right, lover boy. You keep telling yourself that," she laughed, walking away with an empty tray in her hands. I mumbled a incoherent string of profanities until I herd a certain jerk near Sonny's table.

"So how about a date tonight? We could catch a movie or eat at a nice restraunt~" he asked, leaning a little too close to her. "My treat," he finished with a cocky grin.

I could swear I saw her lips twitch from the corner of my eye. "Look, I'm really sorry, but I already have plans tonight," Sonny said standing up. "It was nice meeting you, really," she added, finally walking away.

My insides couldn't help but cheer in victory. 'Take that, sucka!' A grin was plastered noticeably on my face, but I quickly straightened my expression once Sonny came walking toward the Mac Falls table. I discreetly fixed my tie and hair.

"So, Chad. Are we still on tonight?" She asked as she took my hand in hers, with her trademark smile spreading upon her face.

"Of course, Short stack," I said, bringing her hand to my lips, gently placing a kiss upon each knuckle. "Happy one year anniversary, by the way," I said leaning my forehead against hers, staring intently in her chocolate brown eyes. "Speaking of which, what was with that guy?"

"You mean Taylor? Nothing, just wanted to watch you sweat a little," She winked. "Don't worry," She cooed when she felt me stiffen. "You'll always be my egg whites, tomatoes on the side. Don't let them touch, or otherwise it's going back."

I sighed a breath of relief. "Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" I asked, staring deeply into her eyes.

She softly rubbed her nose against mine, a small smile playing on her beautiful face. "Only about a hundred times," She said, pecking my lips. "Ready to go yet?"

"I'm always ready to be with you. You're my Sonshine."
