A different case
It was a pleasant spring day. The birds sang happily as the warm rays of the sun brushed against their feathers, while a light breeze rustled through the bloomed cherry trees.
For once Yagami Light believed that nothing could ruin his good mood today. That until lunch…
"I'M TIRED OF THIS KIRA CASE!!" L suddenly yelled from his place on the chair throwing the documents he received a while ago.
Light turned around from watching the birds and gave L a blank look. What now? Was he again on sugar overdose?
"Now here is an interesting case." exclaimed L picking up the newspaper from the table. "Global Warming!!"
'Is the heat getting to you already?' Light thought surpassing a sigh. Great God what had Watari gave him today? A whole bag of sugar?
"Kira killing other people? Fine!! But, this is about the WORLD." exclaimed the untidy boy waving the newspaper in Light's face.
"Really…are you okay?" asked Light picking up the papers L had thrown earlier on the ground.
"Really!!" said L becoming suddenly very serious and narrowing his eyes "Our world and its people can't just be doomed by climate changes!!"
Light gave him a ridiculous look before shaking his head disapprovingly. "Its okay, L. If some godly force wanted to kill as, humans wouldn't have survived the ice age." he said making the insomniac boy stare at him blankly.
"Unless ice and coldness failed so now the godly force is trying to kill as through heat and burning…" L said without thinking making Light look at him strangely. Yep, he was on sugar overdose again.
L's gasp snapped Light back to reality and the handsome boy gave him a puzzled look. Now what?
"And because God failed… now Kira thinks that he is GOD!! KIRA STARTED GLOBAL WARMING!!" exclaimed L pointing his left hand at Light and waving it around
Sigh "Ryuzaki, please that's just ridicu-" but, before he could continue the newspaper was thrown by L on the floor making his left eyebrow twitch
"-can you not see that everything is related somehow?" yelled L waving his hands around
'Must you throw things?' thought Light gathering the newspaper from the ground.
"Now we really must stop Kira at all cost!!" nodded L
"…Okay, are you trying to force everything on Kira now?"
