Samantha is sitting on her sofa, reading a magazine and drinking a cup of coffee. A knocking sound is heard throughout the room. She looks up, surprised. She hadn't been expecting anyone tonight. Wondering who it could be, and being a single woman living in New York, she looks through the peep hole, seeing a very sad looking Jack standing on the other side of the door.

"What does he want?"

She unlocks the door to open it, revealing the man that broke her heart many moons ago. Jack just stands there for a minute, staring at her, lost in her beauty. Unsure of what he is doing there, she stands in the opening of the door.

"Can I come in?"

She reluctantly opens the door fully and walks inside. After a short hesitation, Jack follows her in, closing the door behind him. She retakes her seat on the sofa. Jack takes a seat by her side, turning his body to face her.

"Samantha, you know that I never meant to hurt you right?"

Her face has a look of great concern.

"Jack, what's going on? Are you okay?"

He looks down at the floor and then back up to her wondering eyes.

"I guess I'm trying to say I'm sorry."

"Jack-"

"It just always comes out wrong."

"I think a part of you still loves me Jack, even though we're moving on."

"Always, all ways, I wanted us to be."

"Always, all ways, just you and me Jack."

"Samantha, I-"

"Jack, I wait here on my own. I wait for you to see. All the time I spend alone now, it won't comfort me."

"I'm sorry for what happened, but I want you now to see."

"See what Jack?"

"That I'm changing all my actions. That I don't want to set you free."

"Always, all ways, I want to see you through."

"Always, all ways, me and you Samantha."

"I wish it were that simple Jack."

"I'm waiting for you."

"No you're not Jack, you're just confused."

"Yes, I'm waiting for you."

"Give me answers Jack. Get me through."

"I will wait Sam."

"Always, all ways, I wanted us to be."

"Always, all ways you and me Sam."

"I've been waiting for you Jack and I will wait for you."

"Always, all ways, I love you Samantha."

"Always, all ways, you and me Jack."
