"Fenris?"

Fenris roused himself slightly from his drowsy state of contented half-sleep. Spending his nights, as well as his days with Hawke was something the elf could truly get used to. And he is more than glad Hawke has given him this second chance to.

"Yes, my friend?" he replied, voice somewhat hoarse from sleep.

"A bit more than friends, aren't we?" A teasing tone snuck its way into Hawke's voice as she pulled herself closer to her companion, tucking her head under his chin.

He huffed then. Half amused half something indescribable, as he wraps his arms around her.

"Fenris?" She drew his name out slowly as she settled into his embrace. His lips twitch once before he allows a small, soft smile to settle on his face. There is no need for him to hide his feelings behind a mask of inscrutability here. There is only he and Hawke and she can't even see his face - let alone his smile - her own face burying deeper into his neck, trailing tender kisses along the lines of his brands.

"Yes, Hawke?"

"Say it."

"Hmm?" Fenris brow furrowed slightly, unsure of what Hawke could be asking for. Searching his memory of the night before for any particularly memorable piece of conversation. Ah

"Fenris." Hawke's voice taking on a cajoling tone. "Say it again. Please?"

Fenris can't help the return of that small smile as his arms tighten around her, pulling her even closer as he inhales the scent of her. To him she smells of warmth, happiness and freedom.

"I am yours"

AN: Just another little drabble. Not entirely sure when it's supposed to take place but certainly some time after the events of the game. As always, if you spot any glaring errors,OOCness or the like, I'd be much obliged if you'd point it out. And of course, reviews are much appreciated also. Thanks for reading.
