Oliver and I worked on getting the decorations onto the Christmas tree. Mum had asked Oliver to spend Christmas with us. His parents happily obliged since they had been wanting time away together. We'd be sharing rooms just like at Hogwarts. I didn't mind. I mean we were best friends. We finished hanging the last of the decorations up. I brushed myself off and stood up, looking up at the tree in admiration of our hard work. I saw a flash and I blinked. I looked over at Oliver who was holding a camera and looking at the picture he'd just taken. He showed it to me and smiled again.
"I'm going to show this to your parents." he said. I quirked an eyebrow.
"Why?" I asked. "They have enough pictures of me as is."
"I want to show them what I want for Christmas." he said. We received whoops and hollers from the couch where Ginny, Harry, Ron, Fred, and George sat.
"Our Keeper's got 'is eye on the Head Boy!" The twins teased. I glared at them as our parents entered the room. Mum had her hands on her hips and was giving the twins a stern look.
"Now what did I say about teasing your bro-"
"Mum! Oliver knows what he wants for Christmas!" said Ron. I blushed furiously and glared at Ron. Mum looked at Oliver and smiled kindly.
"And what would it be dear?" She asked him. Oliver put the camera down and handed the picture of me to her.
"Percy." he replied. Dad chuckled and looked between me and Oliver.
"The day someone asked for a Weasley as a present." he said jokingly.
"Oh dear you already have him!" Mum said. "He talks about you all the time!"
I wished the floor would open up and swallow me whole. Then I wouldn't have to deal with the embarrassment of this situation. Oliver smiled and me and pulled me into a hug.
"I got my present early!" he said happily. The twins groaned and looked at mum.
"Since he got a present early can we open one of ours?" they asked.
"No," replied mum. Everyone but the twins laughed. Oliver led me into the kitchen. We sat at the table and he held my hand, a soft but gentle grip on it. I blushed and looked up into his eyes. He smiled and leaned forward. He pressed a soft kiss to my forehead. I could feel it tingling where he had kissed me.
"This is the best Christmas ever." he said. I smiled.
"Bet I can make it even better?" I asked. He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Try me." I leaned forward and pressed my lips to Oliver's, After a second I pulled away with a smug smile. Oliver, who was looking dumbstruck, shook his head and smiled.
"You're right. It made my Christmas ten times better." he said. I chuckled and rested my head on his shoulder.
