The evolution of James and Lily Potter
,,I'm Lily. Evans."
,,James Potter. Gryffindor's the best, don't you think! Both my parents were in Gryffindor. Plus, red's my favourite colour… Hey! Just like your hair."
She laughed
,,Why would I that?"
,,Because he's in Slytherin. You don't want to be friends with him."
,,Just because he's in Slytherin, doesn't mean he's bad."
,,Maybe, but he is!"
,,You don't even know him."
,,I know him well enough. You could have better friends."
She frowned
,,Evans, how are you?"
,,Fine."
,,What are you doing?"
,,I'm obviously making homework."
,,So, there's this trip to Hogs—"
,,I'm busy, Potter. Please, leave me alone."
She interrupted him.
,,Want to go out with me, Evans. It's almost Valentine's Day
,,No."
,,Give me one good reason for that answer."
,,Well, you keep bullying my best friend, you're arrogant, you think you know everything,… Need I go on? I think you get the picture."
She walked away.
,,Leave him ALONE!"
,,All right, Evans?"
,,Leave him alone. What's he ever done to you?"
,,Well, it's more the fact that he exists, if you know what I mean…"
,,You think you're funny. But you're just an arrogant, bullying toerag, Potter. Leave him alone."
,,If you will go out with me, Evans. Go on, go out with me and I'll never lay a wand on old Snivelly again."
,,I wouldn't go out with me if it was a choice between you and the giant squid."
She was fuming.
,,Hey, Evans!"
,,Don't talk to me, Potter!"
She ignored him.
,,I really like your hair. Red's my favourite colour, you know."
,,I know."
,,I still can't believe I just kissed Lily Evans."
,,Well, technically I kissed you."
,,This was, like, thirteen-year old James' dream. And fourteen-year old James, and fifteen-year old James,…"
She laughed.
