Rose slept Until her phone woke her up. Not wanting to open her eyes she felt around for it. Putting the phone to her ear she answered.
" Hello" She yawned sitting up.
" Good morning sleepy head" Shaggy replied.
"Hey Shaggy. Hows the trip going?" Rose asked.
"Good we got to Coolsville last night." Shaggy said.
" That's nice. How was the dog show?" Rose asked while making coffee.
" We solved the mystery and Scooby won a prize" Shaggy said looking over at Scooby.
"Nice" Rose said sitting down.
"Hey I've gotta go but I want you to check your mailbox" Shaggy said.
"Okay I love you" Rose said.
"Love you too Happy Valentines day Rose" Shaggy said hanging up.
Rose had forgotten it was Valentine's Day. She finished her coffee and put her robe on. Slipping into her house shoes she walked outside to her mailbox. She opened it and found it fuller than she thought it would be. Grabbing the mail she shut The mailbox and went back inside. She disposed of the junk mail and set the bills on the table.
That left her with two letters one from Luna who was away visiting Saddle Arabia on royal business and one from Shaggy. There was a lump in Shaggy's letter which made her even more curious than she already was. So setting the one from Luna aside she carefully opened the one from Shaggy.
Reaching inside she pulled out a necklace. The heart pendent caught the light easily and Rose wasted no time putting it on. Pulling the letter out she begun to read.
Rose. Here's a gift to show you how much I love you. I miss you everyday and can't wait to see you when I get back. Happy Valentines Day!
Love
Shaggy.
Setting Shaggy's letter down she picked up the one from Luna and read.
Rose. How are you? I am well but extremely bored. How I wish you were here with me . I can't wait until we leave. As soon as I return you and I have to catch up.
See you then.
Luna.
Ps. Happy h&H my friend.
Rose couldn't wait. She missed them both.
HAPPY VALENTINES/ HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY. EVERYBODY PLEASE LEAVE A REVIEW. This is set when Shaggy and Rose are still dating.
