"You traitor!" She screamed to him with such anger and horror across her face. This red liquid staining her shirt and dripping to the ground. Her hair tangled with dirt and leaves.
"We were partners, we were team-mates and you betrayed me!" Her voice getting louder with every single word.
"I'm sorry Sakura, I didn't have a choice. If I didn't do it they would have gotten me instead" the blond Jinchuriki said quietly.
"That's a stupid excuse and you know it!" She spat.
"Only 1 person could have won, this would've happened one way of the other"
We could have gotten through this somehow, or..." She trailed off.
"Or what?! You get me instead" He finished her sentence.
I would never betray you! We were team-mates! I would never harm a team-mate and here I thought you wouldn't Naruto, I was wrong about you"
"Hahaha" Naruto laughed with no humour. "We both know the truth Sakura, you would have taken the chance without a thought"
"I wouldn't do that! Because I knew what would happen in the long run, now...now no one will ever trust you again" Naruto's eyes widened just for a second as he saw the truth in her statement , the no panic seen on his face.
"I'll go by myself then"
"That won't work, you'll be taken out in a spilt second out there! It's too dangerous without anyone covering your back"
"Well...at least no one can betray me...since no one was with at the start!"
"No one can do, what you've done to me!" Her cold voice and fury that's been slowly but surely dropping returned and Sakura now had this urge to cut Naruto in 2 with a katana...however she was short on such a weapon.
"At the end of the day it's survival of the fittest Sakura...survival of the fittest"
"Its only paint ball" Shikamaru whispers to himself as he stands on a branch watching Naruto and Sakura, he heard a scream and came to investigate, he was by far annoyed at what he found.
"Crap! I'm hit...Damn you Ino" he whispers again to himself as he sees Ino, standing on top of a tree with a smile planted on her face.
