Dan was thinking just thinking, him and Amy have to get everything this Vesper dude wants or he kills someone. Seems kinda vague? Doesn't it?
Dan stopped and looked at himself in the reflection, sometimes he couldn't find himself, sometimes he felt so...so..so out of place, anymore. But no normal thirteen year old went through what he went through.
He looked around and felt soemoen screaming "DAN! WAKE UP!" He shot up, only to see his older sister Amy. She looked angry.
"Dan, we have to leave. Now." He stood up and brushed himself off. He followed Amy downstairs from their room into the lobby. She paid, and they left. In the past hours while Dan had been asleep, she had gotten a car and food.
"Get in." Amy said, when they were in the car Amy turned to him and said.
"Got a message from vesper 1. Again." Dan looked up at his older sister,
"Amy did they." She answered him in silence. Was one of the members dead?
When he turned it on, he realized it was fully charged. "They sent us the cord."
He nodded, Amy was driving and dodging everything.
"Amy, why are you driving so fast." She looked at him grimly looking more like twenty-years old rather than sixteen-years old.
"Just look at the message." Dan looked at the message. His heart skipped a few beats.
"Meet us where the water starts. And if you're wondering who us is? It's me and Ted Starling. Meet us there or else Ted dies."
Dan looked at the screen on it was Ted and he was being held up with a gun to his head.
"They wouldn't..." Dan said, Amy shot him a look.
" I think we both know they would."
The Vesper phone was ringing.
"Hurry up. Five minutes."
"AMY DRIVE FASTER!"
