Disclaimer: Don't own nothing...'cept maybe this sad looking house plant sittin' on me desk.
Elizabeth Swann sighed as she realized it was futile to argue with him. "Fine! Everyone's shivering but you! How can you not be cold?"
Barbossa smirked. "If there be one thing I've learned while we've been sailin' on these icy waters is that the key to keepin' warm may be keepin' yer hat on yer head and yer mind busy so yeh don' concentrate on the cold."
She rolled her eyes at him and shook her head before she turned her gaze out to the still, white world around them. Barbossa chuckled and returned his attention to keeping the junk on course. He couldn't help but wonder if he should take his own advice. Though, he glanced over at Elizabeth who looked a bit vexed, I think I'll be havin' less trouble tryin' to keep me mind busy than 'er. He smirked again and looked out at the still waters, imagining just how his mind would be kept busy.
He shuddered a bit...oh, yes, he'd have little trouble keeping his mind busy. The key to stayin' warm when yer somewhere where bein' warm be nigh impossible is keepin' in mind ways of stayin' warm, his eyes immediately went to Elizabeth's shivering form, his gaze smoldering. And I know exactly how I'd stay warm. He turned away and never noticed Elizabeth glance back at him, her stare heated.
