Trembling hands slammed a book down onto the table. Pale gray eyes scanned the title for the last time. He had noticed a young woman from America reading them. A series of seven books. He didn't say anything for the longest time. The clocked ticked slowly and he knew he would have to find the girl who gave him these books. He remembered how nice she had been and her shocked expression when he said that he had never read them. Her kind face as the muggle handed him the books advising him to read them quickly. She hadn't seemed shocked at his name. He would have been shocked if a character from a fiction novel talked to him.
Draco slowly stood up and put the book into a bag. He clutched the bag gently as he spun around and apperated. He arrived in an empty dark alley. He brushed his brown hair back from his face and entered the coffee shop across the street. She stood there a kind clerk as he gently waved her over. The girl nodded and headed over.
"Are these actual books," He asked kindly.
"Yeah, J.K. Rowling wrote them," The girl replied.
"Is there any way I can meet her," Draco asked quietly.
"She's like super rich I doubt it, but she does have a book signing in town tomorrow maybe you could talk to her then," She said.
He nodded slowly.
"You should see the movies," She said as she handed him four DVDs, "Five isn't on DVD yet."
"Thanks," He said holding the movies in his hand.
XXXX
He sat up it was three am in the morning. He had just finished the movies they were somewhat accurate. He couldn't help, but laugh as he got dressed and apperated to the coffee shop. The time difference always messed with him. He noticed the girl, her name was Jen he reminded himself, waving at him.
"So you are coming," Jen said in an excited voice.
"Yeah," He replied.
"If we hurry we can catch the bus," Jen pulled him onto the bus.
He watched as it hurried along. His eyes slightly wide. As she rushed him off they got in line to get her book signed. It took about two hours and many odd sights later till they were at the front. He could her Jen giggling excitedly as her book was signed.
"I have a question, is it okay if I ask it," Draco said uncertainly.
"Proceed," was the authors reply.
"This stuff, Is it real," He asked.
"It's fiction," was the reply.
"No it's not," Draco said.
"Prove it," Called someone from the crowd.
He wiped out his wand and pointed it at a person. The first curse he could think of came to mind.
"Avada Kadrava," He said slightly.
A flash of green light flew out of his wand as people ducked out of the way. That was beyond stupid now he was so going to be sent to Azakaban, for sure.
