Shot One: Love
Set: Ric and Claudia have lunch and he mentions his belief in love.
Love.
The word slips out and she is looking at him like he is a puppy that needs to be put down.
And he tells himself not to push but he can't help it. She can't really be this jaded. She has to feel it too; the heat, the connection, the chance.
Devils, sinners, both of them with blood on their hands, matching dark souls with a constant cacophony of nightmares screaming in their heads but together- together there is a chance. A chance to be different, better, redeemed.
Together they just might have a chance- a chance at love.
