Horsea's Home Pool
Horsea was in love with the pool from the moment Misty had released him from his Poke ball. It was nothing like the little fountains which were all they'd been able to stop at for a while. Nothing like the wide ocean either, even though that had used to be his home.
The water was lovely: fresh with not too much salt and with a Seel that never tired of playing with him. It was lovely…and after the first night, Horsea didn't think he could bear the thought of leaving it again.
But this was his trainer's home, so maybe he wouldn't have to. And he didn't, but not quite the way he had intended. Still, he knew his trainer would come back from time to time and visit – and eventually settle back down with him as well.
But he'd miss her in the meantime. And he'd miss all his friends: human and pokemon.
