Author's note: This is actually fan fiction. It is a poem Ame (my
original character in the FF7 world featured in Second Shadow) wrote about
her grandmother after she was killed in the Kalm massacre. It serves very
little purpose other than to delve into her character a little more. (She
isn't as shallow as she seems.)
Disclaimer: Squaresoft owns Final Fantasy and I own Ame and her grandmother. So there!
Grandmother
Grandmother taught me to dance.
She taught me many other things,
like how our planet heals,
and how our prayers have angel wings.
She conversed with the planet
and she made the grass grow green.
She was the last Cetra,
able to control lifestream.
But she died a while ago,
in fire and bullet rain.
Not finishing lessons
but teaching so much pain.
However…
Of all the things she taught me,
out of all the things she knew,
I wish I had have learned
that deadly flames could dance too.
