The Jealousy
It was the first day of senior year, the day I dreaded for I had to see Annabeth Chase my most hated enemy. She always was a know it all, with many friends, she works for the school paper, and she dates my mortal enemy, Luke.
Luke always made fun of me, and was the school's most popular guy. But the upside was that I was going to see my friends again, Nico and Grover.
When I arrived I was greeted by Grover limping towards me, He has some medical condition I didn't really care about, "Hey." He said wearing his usual worn out jeans and 2 sizes to big t-shirt. "Hey." I told him back, "School had to come did…." That's when I saw Rachel Elizabeth Dare, I have a major crush on her and about almost the whole school knows because of Luke's big mouth.
"PERCY" Grover screamed Knocking me out of my stare, "Rachel?" He asked, "Yea." Grover and I began walking towards our classes Rachel walked up "Hey" She said, "Uh uh" I said which made her laugh. " Hey Rachel I better get to class Bye Perce"
He said as he walked away. "Can I see your schedule" she asked and I gave it to her "Hm we have All the classes except Gym" "Great" I told her as we walked towards math. But before we reached I saw Annabeth crying with her best friend Thalia Grace and Silena comforting her. "What?" I asked. "Oh, Luke and Annabeth broke up yesterday" Rachel replied. Rachel and Annabeth were friends so she knew everything. "I better go to her, bye Percy", "Bye"
And I continued walking to math But before I knew BAM I hit something. I got pulled up, my sight fuzzy. But then I heard Luke voice "Ah I see you thought you can just do that" Then he slammed me into the window and heard glass shattering.
I could feel my body burning, And tasted blood in my mouth, And my back burning. Then I heard Grover screaming "PERCY!" And also heard my principal Chiron Shout "Get him to the hospital" But then everything became black and I became unconscious.
I woke up from time to time, And heard Grover saying something then I heard Rachel say something then blacked out again. When I woke up I saw myself bandaged and heard my heart monitor.
"He's awake." I heard Rachel say. "Wh" I said as I coughed. "Percy don't talk." She said and gave me a glass of water. I drank it al and felt myself instantly better.
"What happened?" I asked. "Luke slammed you into the window." Grover said " You fell from the second floor and fell on broken glass."
"Oh no how am I gonna pay?" "Don't worry honey Rachel paid for it." I heard my mom Sally Jackson say.
"Oh." I said as I yawned. "Get some rest, you need it." "I'll tell the nurse you woke up." And they all left the room as I went into a deep sleep"
"Well well it seems your alive" I heard luke say as he aimed a punch for my head. I fell down in pain before he kicked me again and again.
I woke too find Grover shaking me. "What do you want" "Well geez I'm sorry" "I'm sorry, now what do you want" I said.
"They will let you leave after your mom signs the paper". Great I have to go back to school, then a nurse came in and said "Percy you have been discharged from the hospital" She said as I went to change.
After I changed and got ready I walked with Grover to my car when. Out of nowhere Luke and his gang circle around me. And I saw a few with knives. "You thought you can cry and leave." Luke said.
"WELL YOU CAN'T" He shouted as he punched me right in the face. His gang followed. The suddenly I felt my back burning, then my thigh, then I blacked out of pain. I heard Grover yell something about lots of blood but then passed out.
