Near Death Experience

Pit tells us of his horrifying neat death experience. Let's see what he says…

"It… it was the strangest thing I've ever experienced…" started the scared Pit, while looking at the camera. The winged human had a sad expression on his face, by his facial features. He then continued with his monologue.
"As if it was some sort of… sign. A life-changing sign. It made me think of the whole world differently now. What am I? Who am I? Do I even exist?..." asked the boy, grabbing a hold of his knees, while gently rocking back and forth as if to keep himself from going mentally insane. Back… and forth.
He was nervous. Pit didn't want to tell, nor even think in his mind, about the terrible, incident. He was afraid, that if he were to tell, the boy would die of embarrassment.
"At first, I saw a light… as bright as the radiant sun illuminating our world; however I wasn't blinded by the luminescence of it. I was rather… enchanted, and ever so slowly, walked towards it. I started off a simple walk, then gradually a jog, and then a run. It was as if I had to go there as fast as possible, or else…
Something bad was to happen." Pit shivered. He didn't want to talk anymore, and just hid his face in his hands, whimpering.
The camera man took a few seconds took tell him that he was still recording live, and told him to hurry. He couldn't bare to lose this minimal wage job.
"O-ok…" Pit stuttered, wiping his face of any left-over tears. He was so ashamed and embarrassed of himself. Why did his near-death experience have to be so… bad?
"I…" Pit started.
The cameraman was impatiently recording Pit, cussing at the melodramatic kid in his head.
Exactly five seconds past which seemed like forever to the cameraman and Pit. Finally, FINALLY, he told him the dark memory/event/thing. (Who's to know what it exactly was?) Bluntly, he said…
