First, I don't own any of these characters or movies mentioned below.
Though I may wish they did. And if they did, I wouldn't be worry about
college. However, I do own the idea of the "lightning movie" because this
did happen my freshman year of high school, but we had a substitute teacher
show it to us.
Well this idea has been jingling around in my mind for a few days now and I've finally decided that it needs to be written down. What it comes down to is that I will try my best to make my chaotic thoughts coherent enough for you, my readers.
And now, let the insanity begin.
It's starting again, though I can't remember if it ever really left. The guys are picking on me for not going but I just can't bring myself to go. Every time my resolve breaks down and I can't do it, I just can't do it! My skin grows clammy, I can feel the sweat seep through my clothes, and memories of that day haunt my mind's eye once again.
I go and find a quiet place to sit; I'm going to need the solitude. Sure enough just as all the other times, I'm taken back to that day so many years ago on L2.

The day started like any other, Duo was running late for school again so he hurriedly said his good byes and snatched up his lunch as he ran out the door. He hated going to school, but he hated being scolded for being late even more, and he hated making Sister Helen feel bad especially on brownie day.
Jogging down the street, dodging this way and that with his braid trailing behind him, he managed to make it to school just in time for the first bell.
"Good," he thought, "Just enough time to get to my locker before science."
Racing through the halls he skidded to a stop in front of good old locker 358.
"Lets see.Right 3.Left.30.Right 81.ARGH NO!" He shouts jiggling the handle and banging on the door. "NOT AGAIN! I've only got 3 minutes left!"
"DUO! You idiot! That's my combination."
"Oh hey Zuki*.Wait, your combo? Then what's mine?"
Zuki just roles his eyes. "Yours is 3; 21; 81 remember? "Oh yeah it is, isn't it?" Duo gives his classmate a sheepish grin before finally opening his locker and digging out his books.
"You know you better hurry to class. Miss. Fortune isn't going to be here today so she left us a movie."
"Really? Sweet! Meet you there!" He calls, as his friend heads of to class and soon he's hurrying behind, after all movie days are no homework days.

"Attention please, Class please take your seats!" A stately gentleman shouts trying to make him self heard above the noise of the room. But soon order is restored when all the students have taken their seats. "By now I'm sure you are all aware that our Miss Fortune is not with us today. However she has left a video for you to watch in supplement. I understand that you have been studying the natural weather patterns of earth so this video should be interesting. It is about lightening and how it works. I understand that this is an older video, but still educational. So it will do you good to watch. As well there will be a quiz on this when your teacher returns."
This was met by the groans of the class as the their principal left with the door sealing behind him (latest in school room technology) and the vid screen dropping from the ceiling.
If only they knew what the movie truly was.
