Marco and Star were at the academy when the former asked, "Hey Star, can you guess what's my one true pairing?" he got a confused look from the princess. "As in, the one pairing I think is the best out of them all?"
Just as she answered, Marco added, "It's not Jackie and I."
Then he turned to the entirety of the school's student body. "And it's not Star and I either."
The students left in annoyance. "Well, if it's not us nor you and Jackie, then what's your one true pairing?" Star asked, crossing her arms.
"My one true pairing is..." and then Marco took out a picture of a blue haired girl and a cat boy in a black suit. "Marinette and Chat Noir!"
Star was left speechless. "Wait, you were talking about Miraculous Ladybug all along?"
"Well, yeah, what other show has an otp as convincing as this?" Marco hugged the drawing as he explained: "I mean, a shy girl and a comical wisecracking superhero, doesn't that sound like a match made in heaven?"
Star laughed out loud. "Don't be ridiculous, Marco! The real one true pairing of Miraculous Ladybug is Ladybug and Adrien!" as Star explained herself, a picture of Ladybug brushing Adrien's hair appeared in a cloud above the duo. "A superheorine who always saves the day, and a cute and shy guy who's. They're simply meant to be!"
And then Marco bursted Star's bubble. Literally. "What are you talking about? Marinoir is the true otp!"
"No, Ladrien is the otp!" Star growled.
And then Jackie came out of nowhere. "No way, you guys got it all wrong." Jackie took out a drawing of Marinette and Adrien hugging. "The real otp is Marinette and Adrien! I mean, a cool person and an energetic, shy person? They're simply meant to be together! One of them just has to notice the other's feelings and they'll be a couple in no time!"
The irony wasn't lost on Marco, who said "I beg to differ." while rolling his eyes.
And then Miss Heinous appeared. "And so do I!"
The trio were left speechless. "The true otp has to be Chat Noir and Ladybug." Miss Heinous hissed. "They're complete opposites, which as we all know is guaranteed to bring them together by the end of the show! Besides, the show is primarily about them, so if there's going to be a romantic otp, it has to be them!"
A couple seconds later, Star sternly asked, "Miss Heinous, what the heck are you doing here?"
"I deserve to appear more often, dang it!" the woman growled.
It wasn't long before the quartet started beating each other up, trying to establish which of their otps were the true otp of Miraculous Ladybug. From the distance, Brittney Wong watched the scene and shook her head.
"Foolish shippers, everybody knows the otp is Hawk Moth and everybody." she nonchalantly remarked.
And then the quartet beat up Brittney.
