The dance
Clemont's Bunnelby was still wearing his blue bow tie, after the battle that had happened on the ball room that afternoon. The rabbit pokemon stood on the balcony, watching the sun going down while his trainer and his teammates were still having fun, dancing and eating. He reflected on his beautiful Eevee that had now evolved into a Sylveon, making his little heart beat faster at the beauty of her white and pink fur with ribbons.
Bunnelby was happy with her evolution, it meant that young pokemon was getting stronger, but he couldn't help but be sad because it meant she would no longer need him and his company, and these were the moments that Bunnelby loved the most, when she'd hide herself behind him, or play with him. He loved that Pokémon and would always want to protect her.
"Bunnelby?" The rabbit pokemon turned to see Sylveon calling him, walking uncertainly toward him and he quickly smiled, encouraging her to approach.
Sylveon was happy after evolving for her trainer and friend, Serena. But the Pokémon wanted to get away from Chespin who insisted on wanting to dance with her. That special moment of her evolution and dancing was something she wanted to share with Bunnelby and no other Pokémon and was why she was there.
"I'm happy for you Sylveon." Bunnelby said, staring at her big and blue eyes. "You've became stronger. And even more beautiful." He finished with his gravelly voice and she blushed.
"Me?"
"Don't be shy about yourself, it's true." He insisted, raising his paw and playing with her ribbon, which wrapped itself around his paw. Seeing the expression of longing in the furry face of her friend and secret crush she asked worriedly:
"What happened? Why are you sad?"
"Because now you won't need me to protect you." Bunnelby admitted.
"No! Despite having evolved, I still feel shy around the others. I-I'll always need you, you're always so kind." She couldn't lose him. "I love you."
With her little heart accelerated for having declared to him, Sylveon panicked and ran from the balcony, but Bunnelby, ecstatic with her statement, ran to her, holding her to turn her into him, keeping his paws around her body while staring at her with a beautiful smile with his big teeth:
"Sylveon, I'll always protect you, you are my princess and I love you." Bunnelby declared sincere with his black eyes shining in front of that beautiful moment.
"Really?" The rabbit nodded and she opened a beautiful smile and when Bunnelby pulled her to his chest, she buried her head there, as his lips kissed her forehead and then raised her face, gently kissing her lips, which made her blushed, before smiling:
"Would you like to dance, Bunnelby?"
"Only with you, my Sylveon." He replied smiling, guiding her to the circle of pokemons and the two made a bow before they began dancing, with Sylveon swirling around Bunnelby.
