Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck, nor have I ever owned Chuck. Also not getting paid for this, but honestly, if someone wanted to give me a "love offering", I wouldn't be too upset ;-)

A/N: Okay, so who was pissed off at the end of the dance scene in "Chuck vs. The Ring"? Show of hands. I know I was. So, I said to myself, how can I make that scene better. Well, that's what this little drabble is all about. This is how, in my opinion, the scene should have gone. Hope you enjoy, and please review. Thanks!

"I don't want to save the world," Sarah says, looking down slightly, then meeting Chuck's gaze. The emotion visible in her eyes was palpable. "I want –"

"Chuck! Chuck!" Orion interrupts, clearly out of breath. "The agent came for Bryce. He isn't a CIA agent. He's supposed to be dead," he finished shakily.

"Dad, how could you possibly know that?" Chuck asked through a strained expression. Just when things were getting good. Just when Sarah was going to tell him something real for once, the "spy world" had to interrupt again.

Orion faltered slightly, then, "Screw it. I have an Intersect in my head."

At the admission, Chuck's eyes nearly bugged out of his head. Sarah was startled as well. Neither of them had seen that coming.

"I – I tested the computer on myself. I was young and stupid, but the intel was good. That man isn't CIA," the older man finished.

"Bryce – Bryce is getting the upload tonight," Chuck said with a fearful voice. He was really worried for his friend. If he didn't know what was going on, he'd be in real trouble.

"They're going to kill him. They'll download the Intersect into their team instead," Mr. Bartowski explained.

"Well if they know about Bryce, they know about Casey," Sarah said, also quite shaken.

Chuck and Sarah shared a fearful look before Sarah pulled her phone from her clutch. She began hitting buttons at a furious pace.

"What are you doing?" Chuck asked.

"Sending a text," Sarah explained, shrugging her shoulders.

C. Baddies know about U. Jst a heds up.

She put the phone away, and pulled Chuck back towards the dance floor.

"Wait, aren't you going to go help?" Orion asked.

"Nope," Sarah said simply.

"Nope?" he asked indignantly.

"Meh, I'm done with all that," Sarah said flippantly. "If you want to go help, knock yourself out. As for me…" Sarah turned to face Chuck. "Don't we have some unfinished business from Barstow to handle?"

A/N: You guys are awesome. Peace
