Caryl School

A lone photographer goes into an abandoned school to take a few photos. He does not realize that this school has spirits that linger in the school and they do not like intruders.

This is an original script that is based on a school in my town.

1EXT. HOTEL PARKING LOT. DAY1

A car pulls into a parking near the entrance of an old school. The school has not been used for years and is owned by the town. A MAN exits from the car and heads towards the entrance. The MAN is a photographer and wants to take some pictures of the old school. He takes a few shots outside and then enters the school.

2INT. FIRST FLOOR OF SCHOOL. DAY.2

The looks down the abandoned hallways and takes a few shots. The school has not been cleaned up very well and there are leaves in the hallway and old papers on the doors. The MAN walks down the hallway and sees the cafeteria to his right. There are chairs everywhere and some tables tipped over. One of the tables is swerving on the floor, as if someone has hit it while walking by. The MAN takes no notice of this and continues to photograph. He leaves the cafeteria and goes down the hallway to go upstairs.

3INT. SECOND FLOOR OF SCHOOL. DAY.3

The Man walks down the hallway and looks through the small window in some of the doors into the classrooms. He tries to open a few of them, but the first few are locked. The last door he tries opens. He sees a row of desks facing the board as if a teacher is giving a lesson. The MAN takes a few shots and then pauses. He hears something that sound like writing on the chalkboard. He turns and sees written on the board, "leave now". He walks slowly out of the room, cautiously. He then walks down the hall and is about to enter a different section of the second floor, but the door closes in front of him and locks itself. The MAN backs away slowly and then runs down the another hallway and then stops. He turns around and takes out his camera and takes a picture out of curiosity. He then looks at the photo in the screen and then has a shocked look on his face. He then begins to run again. The MAN then runs down the stairs and falls, as if he was pushed. He falls down to the first floor.

4INT. FIRST FLOOR OF SCHOOL. DAY.4

The MAN's legs are badly injured and he struggles to walk down the hallway. He limps into the cafeteria and finds a seat to sit in. He checks his leg and then jumps when he hears a sound of footsteps behind the the cafeteria door. The doors open, but no one is there. The MAN takes his camera and begins taking pictures rapidly.

CUT TO BLACK

5INT. FIRST FLOOR OF SCHOOL. THREE DAYS LATER.5

Two cops enter and look walk down the hallway towards the cafeteria. They split up, one goes down the hallway towards the stairway and the other goes into the cafeteria. The cop in the cafeteria sees the MAN's camera lying on the floor and no sign of the MAN. The picks up the camera and analyzes it. He then turns it on and looks through the pictures. He then sees the pictures of a dark figure in a dress walking that seems to be walking towards the camera. The final picture seems to have blood all over it.
