The smile is fake and all pretend.

His game never ends and never seemed to begin

because imagination sustains him since early on.

While this one boy runs around,

painting monuments without notice,

and builds reality into the vision he sees,

there are some issues to set straight and some tricks to explain.

Sakura used to hit him but any attention beat getting none.

She couldn't learn with unresponsive Sasuke.

Sakura could ask if she was that willing to learn and did indeed have such smarts

to be top kunoichi of the class and one of few to answer the chunin written test

despite not admitting it was clear,

that Sasuke had no interest.

Sasuke belittled others so he could refuse his own feelings,

though no one liked his projection,

if he'd just ask somebody.

Naruto wouldn't hold back but no

Sasuke's an avenger,

who can't see himself and fears his reflection through others

as his bangs grow over a pale face screaming for sunshine,

though Naruto's around

with his vision and presence,

and gets mentioned all around.

Kakashi however stays aloof to mess with others,

a near kindred soul but of differring vision

threatening poor Naruto's with ever-present but discretly accompanying perversions.

Why else spring a trap before ever meeting their sensei?

Naruto could feel the indifference;

Anomosity enabled his vision and Kakashi might stunt it.

He's strange anyways to like something way less important than ramen,

and to pull such boring tricks despite Naruto's many shining examples

in broad daylight for all to see,

with such craft and style and use of abstract canvas.

Nothing else could motivate as well.

Not Sakura's beatings, or Hinata fainting, or Iruka's big headed jutsu.

Not even Jiraiya and the perverted influences around him,

despite his sexy jutsu's creation,

and his luck at gambling with chance he feels so nonchalant towards among the love for his Gama-chan.

…Ramen came close though.

Not instant ramen,

but ramen served at Ichiraku's with its good food and good people,

and that shaded stall of theirs which as his well known favorite place kept people from suspecting,

that he hid there after most successful pranks.

Playing with Konohamaru and friends proved his vision possible though.

While chasing after Sakura to align her to his cause may be no good means to an end,

avoiding Anbu so young and with such early trickery as blending with walls

had a purpose,

even if a bonus; that he would remain regardless if not present,

like the love he hopes to have one day,

from a family,

or close friends,

and the village.

Still...

Do not forget ramen.

Ramen is omnipresent.

Love for this heavenly delight must be accounted for,

as it deserves its due in showing what color best stood out for his vision.

Yellow it is but what was most yellow?

The sun, of course,

which hovered most distinct in its rise and fall.

What color was it then but a very orange-like hue?

Yes, ramen started all.

Ramen deserves so much more,

but first the love.

Then comes ramen and its world take over.

Naruto felt sure of this no matter how many times Sakura yelled or punched at his head.

Nor when Kakashi pulled lame jokes and kept that book at his side,

hiding his face so openly,

dammit,

or Sasuke's transparency of self loathing refusal.

He had ramen after all, and they didn't.

They could have learned

if they ever agreed to eat with him after training or missions.

So people had to come first if only to reform.

The love would prevail.

Then ramen…

All Kage's depicted on the Hokage Mountain should share a ramen bowl.

Naruto would just have to fix that too.
