"TEMARI!!" three girls heard a distant yell from the downstairs of the house the were in.
Said girl frowned then went to her door and opened it. "WHAT IS IT KANKURO!!" she yelled back slightly pissed that her younger brother would interupt her time with her two best friends who she hadn't seen in weeks since they lived in Konoha and she lived here in Suna. By this time Kankuro had already made it two her bedroom door so Temari was pretty much yelling in his face.
"I was wondering if Hinata and Sakura are staying for dinner because I'm gonna order pizza." He said "Jeez you try to be nice and you get screamed at in the face." he muttered under his breath.
"Sorry about that, yes they will be staying just order us a large cheese pizza." She said handing him the money.
"Thanks Kanky!!" yelled Sakura and Hinata at the same time.
Kankuro rolled his eyes and left with a wave of his hand.
"Alright back to our topic: boys." Temari said sitting down next to Hinata and Sakura, they now all sat in a small circle on the floor. "I have a question what does Kankuro look like without his hood and make-up on?" Sakura asked
"Well let's see he looks like an older Gaara with brown hair and no dark circle's around his eyes. But I said boy talk." Temari answered
"Kankuro is a boy." Hinata chimed in.
"Alright fine I mean our boys." the blonde corrected herself.
Hinata blushed she hated talking about her relationship with Sasuke, people always questioned her about how she ended up with him when she was so in love with Naruto. Hinata was grateful when Sakura spoke up.
"You seriously want to hear about the adventures of me and your brother...that's sick." The pink haired girl teased.
"Ha ha very funny I just wanted to know how my two best friends love lives were going but apparently that's just to weird." Temari stated
"GRR!! Fine Temari, Gaara and I are doing fine!" Sakura said
"See that's all I ask for, and Sakura I commend you for being patient with my brother because of his lack experience and knowledge of such things." Temari finished as she took a drink of her soda.
"On the contrary Temari Gaara may have been alone growing up but he is certainly not uneducated." Sakura finished with a slight blush.
Temari choked on her Pepsi. "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING HE'S ACTUALLY HOT IN THE SACK!"
Sakura giggled her cheeks still a little bit pink. "Yes, and if he finds out I was talking about it with you of all people I'm dead."
"Sakura this is to much info for me to take on about my brother I must switch to talking to Hinata who besides the giggling I haven't heard a peep from." Temari said turning her body in Hinata's direction.
"Yes Temari what do you want to know." the white eyed girl asked having lost her stutter and shyness when she and Sasuke had started dating almost a year ago when they were 16.
"What does Neji think about you and Sasuke being together?" asked the four pig- tailed girl.
"Uh well Neji was okay with it until he walked in on us well you know..." Hinata trailed off.
"Wait, how far had you gotten when he walked in." Sakura asked.
"Well I was still in my skirt but I only had my bra on top. Then Neji walked in and if Tenten wasn't there he probably would have hit Sasuke, but since she was she just dragged him out of the room and apologized for not knocking." She paused taking a breath. "Now Sasuke's not allowed at our house which is fine with me since I don't want that happening again." Hinata finished.
"God and I thought Shikamaru's mom was over protective." Temari said under her breath.
"Hey Temari you started this and you haven't even told us anything about Shikamaru." Sakura protested.
"Well what is their to tell, you guys have known him longer than I have." Temari stated.
"Yes but you know him better. Does he always act lazy or is he more awake when you guys are together?" asked Hinata.
Temari got an evil grin. "Oh no he is quite lively if you know what I mean." The girls all started giggling until they heard Kankuro yell that the pizza was here.
The girls went downstairs Temari entered the kitchen first then quickly turned around to face her friends before they entered the kitchen.
"Just to warn you gals the almighty Lord Kazekage is in the kitchen you better be on your best behavior." she said jokingly.
Sakura rolled her eyes at her friends stupid behavior. The girls walked into the kitchen and the sight they saw made them all burst out laughing. Kankuro was trapped in a sand coffin and Gaara was sitting at the table casually eating his pizza with one arm extended holding Kankuro in place. Hearing them come into the room he looked up.
"Hi guys." He said smiling at Sakura.
The pink haired girl sat down next to her boyfriend. "Sweetie, may I ask why you have Kankuro in a sand coffin?" She asked sweetly.
"He was being annoying." He stated simply
"Che when isn't he. But Gaara Subaku you let our brother go right now or I'll tell Sakura who your only friend was as a child." Temari threatened.
"Tem you fail to realize I tell her almost everything about myself, and it's kind of your fault for being afraid of me so you have no right to threaten me about my teddy bear." he said not releasing Kankuro.
Sakura smiled evilly and whispered so only Gaara could hear. "If you let him go I'll reward you later." she said seductively.
The red head let out a sigh then muttered "Fine." lowering his hand making Kankuro drop to the floor in a pile of sand.
"Gaara clean up this sand right now, and hand me your Kazekage robes so you don't want to get pizza on them." Temari said.
"Yes mother." Gaara grumbled sarcastically. As he called the sand into his gourd that lay on the floor next to his chair, and pulled his robes off leaving him in his regular clothes.
"Now Kankuro what did you say to Gaara to get him so mad." Temari scolded
"Um well I..." Kankuro said incoherently.
"You were making fun of his Kazekage hat again weren't you!" Temari said slapping him in the back of his head.
"I can't help it, it's just so pointy." Kankuro laughed putting his hands together in a point as if to sell his own personal humor more.
Gaara growled as he prepared to wrap more sand around his brother.
"OW." he said feeling a poke from Hinata then trying to do raise his sand but failing.
"Sorry Gaara, Temari told me to cut off your chakra flow temporarily." Hinata said innocently.
"Oh well I don't need chakra to beat the crap out of him anyway." he said as he landed a punch in the center of Kankuro's face.
"Grab your pizza girls we are eating in my room this will probably go on for a couple hours." Temari stated.
"Love ya Gaara I'll say goodbye before I leave." Sakura said the only reply she got was a quick smile in her direction before he went back to beating his older brother.
"Oh and Gaara you'll have your chakra back in about fifteen minutes since it was only temporary." Hinata said as the girls grabbed their food and went upstairs.
Sakura and Hinata were packing up to head back to their village when they heard Temari yell with glee from the other room. They ran towards the blonde only to find her hugging her brother and thanking him as he rolled his eyes at his older sister.
"What's all the commotion about?" asked Sakura from the doorway.
"Your boyfriend, my sweet little brother pinches his cheek earning her a glare. has given me a mission to Konoha, and it lasts until they need me back here in Suna." she replied happily.
"That's great Temari, it'll be nice to have you around." Hinata said smiling.
"Yeah, you say that now." Gaara grumbled rubbing his cheek.
The girls laughed as Temari left to pack and Hinata left leaving the lovebirds behind.
The pink haired Kunoichi giggled"Your cheek is turning red." Sakura said as she cupped his face in her hand examining it.
"Damn sister, did you know when I was little and no one was supposed to see me she would sneak into my room just to pinch my cheeks. Apparently they were cute as a chipmunk's." he stated rolling his eyes.
"Well having seen the few pictures of you when you were little I must agree you were rather cute. But I have to say I find you a lot more desirable now." She said leaning up to kiss him.
When they broke apart he smiled.
"I hope so otherwise you would be a pedophile." This earned him a light punch to the arm.
"Way to kill the mood Romeo." Sakura giggled.
Gaara ignored her notion that the mood was killed and kissed her again this time they were interrupted.
"Tsk tsk tsk, putting the moves on such and innocent boy Sakura what are you thinking." Kankuro teased.
"Don't you have a doll to play with?" Sakura laughed as she and all the sand siblings were quite close she was able to tease Kankuro without being threatened.
"Puppets, my friend puppets and that is actually why I'm here I was looking for a part to The Crow which flew off when I was fighting Gaara. No sooner than he had said this did a detachable piece of his puppet come flying at him provided by Gaara.
"Oh thanks, I'll get out of your hair now." He said with a wave as he left the room.
"Does he do anything besides tend to his puppets?" Sakura asked the red head who still had his arms around her waist.
"He does girls." he stated simply like he hadn't even said something dirty.
Sakura just stared.
"What." he asked innocently
"I was just thinking how when I met you at the Chuunin exams I would never picture you saying something like that, and the sad thing is I've heard worse come from that mouth of yours." She said smiling.
"Huh what can I say you bring out the perv. in me." he laughed.
"Again with the charm, I don't know how you keep the woman at bay."
At this Gaara scoffed "Uh how about my girlfriend who happens to have super strength and who threatened my fan club that if they didn't stay away from your Gaara they would get their asses kicked." He answered.
"That was a rhetorical question, and I was just mad that after I hadn't seen you for a month every corner we turned their was a new group of bimbos who only like you for your looks and nothing else." She answered in a huff.
"And your saying you like me for more than that." he taunted
"Yes as a matter a fact I am, since I love you even though you pinned me to a tree and nearly killed me and my good friend Sasuke." She huffed again.
"I was only joking blossom. And haven't I apologized to you enough about the whole pinning you to a tree thing yet." he asked desperately.
"Well you have apologized quite a bit and I know you mean it. But I think it won't be complete until you seal it with three little words." Sakura stated evilly.
"Temari. Is. Crazy." he teased.
"However true that may be, no." She giggled.
"Oh you mean the words every girl waits to hear from a guy. But I've already told you that a million times but if it will make you forgive me. Sakura, I. Love. You." He said as he kissed her passionately then teleported them to his room via his sand.
"Gaara ,you better not tire me out I have a long way to travel tomorrow." she giggled.
"I think we both know you have enough stamina for this, we only partake in this activity whenever we're together." he said as he started kissing down her neck earning a moan.
"Fine but I better be up in time to leave with Temari and Hinata. We both know Temari won't hesitate to come in here herself to wake me." Sakura stated giggling at the thought of Temari bursting into Gaara's bedroom and yelling at them while they were still naked.
Gaara walked over to the side of his bed picking up his alarm clock.
"What time do you want to wake up tomorrow?" he asked
"Six." she said. He hit a couple buttons on the clock setting it to go off at six.
"There problem solved. Now where were we?" he asked walking towards the pink haired beauty in front of him and pulling her close. The two eventually found their way onto the bed and continued until late into the night.
BACK IN KONOHA
The three girls entered the gates of Konoha unharmed but exhausted. "HOME!!" Hinata yelled happily being one who hated the heat in Suna but otherwise liked it there she just loved her home and missed a certain someone.
Temari laughed at her friend as she heard this. Looking at Sakura she frowned, whenever her and Gaara got together they were always happy while they were with one another but as soon as they had to be apart again they would be depressed for a few days. This time was no exception.
"Sakura you're just like Gaara." Temari stated.
"What do you mean." Sakura asked confused.
"Whenever you leave him he goes all mopey, like you're doing now." Temari said sensing that if Sakura knew Gaara was just as miserable it may make her feel better.
Sakura perked up a bit at this fact.
'My plan worked.' Temari thought.
The three reported to the Hokage's office where Hinata and Sakura gave a mission report and Temari checked in with Tsunade.
Tsunade looked at Hinata and Sakura and spoke. "Alright good job you two I will call you when I have another mission for you." she then turned her attention to Temari. "And you will have the same guide as always." she said with a slight grin. Now if Temari was the kind of person to blush she would have by now but being that she wasn't she did not.
"Thank you Lady Hokage." Temari said as the three girls walked out of her office.
When they entered the lobby to Hokage tower they were greeted by the sleeping form of none other than Shikamaru Nara, a.k.a Temari's lover.
Sakura and Hinata waved goodbye to their friend knowing she was in good hands and left to go unpack their belongings.
Temari smiled, as much as she complained about Shikamaru's laziness she couldn't help but think how cute he was when he was asleep. Walking up to the sleeping man putting her face right next to his and...
"BOO!!"
"AHH!!" Temari screamed 'Damn him he beat me to it.' she thought angrily.
Shikamaru laughed. "Sorry Tem I couldn't resist, but did you seriously think I could sleep standing up."
"Che, you spend enough time sleeping I thought maybe you had, had enough practice to be a regular ol' pro at sleeping in any position." she scoffed pissed that her genius plan had been turned around on her.
"Well shall I guide you than, oh wonderful Temari of the Sand, sister to the Kazekage friend to all, and girlfriend , well I hope still girlfriend, of Shikamaru Nara." Shikamaru stated as they walked out of the building.
Temari tapped her chin as if considering if she would still be his girlfriend.
"Well I like you to much to dump you over that stunt you just pulled and who am I to judge I was gonna do the same thing to you so I would be a hypocrite, and you know how much I hate hypocrites." She said taking his hand in hers as they walked down the street.
"That I do." he said with a laugh as he realized she was unconsciously leading them to his apartment were he lived alone.
When they arrived at his apartment she pulled out a key he had given her with the invitation to come whenever she wanted while she was in Konoha and that she did a lot. Then it ended up that she stayed there every-time she was in Konoha and neither one was complaining about the arrangement.
When the door was finally opened it was quickly closed again as Temari threw herself at Shikamaru. He happily returned it as he pressed her against the wall and deepened the kiss they didn't stay there for long as they made their way to his bedroom. Both were only thinking about was how much they had missed each other and how happy they were to be together again.
With Hinata
Hinata had just unpacked her belongings when she decided to go for a walk, being that it was a nice day and she barely went outside the whole time she was in Suna preferring to stay in the air-conditioned house the sand siblings lived in than the heat outside. And she didn't count them traveling from Suna to Konoha as being outside to relax because you had to be alert the whole time you were traveling.
She was walking towards the forest when she felt two strong arms wrap around her waist and pull her close. She smiled.
"Sasuke your lucky I recognized your chakra pattern or I would have cut off your chakra flow by now." she said as she turned herself around in his arms and kissed him deeply.
"I missed you." she said
"Back at ya. How was your mission?" he asked
"Fine, I'm glad to be home I hate the desert." she stated with a scowl. Sasuke of course knew this as he knew many things about the woman he loved, once when they were on a mission to Suna and it had been just the two of them she had traveled practically the who way in a pair of shorts her ninja sandals and her bra making a shadow clone carry all her things. Sasuke laughed at the memory.
"You didn't travel in your bra again did you?" he asked
"Why yes as a matter a fact I did, so did Sakura. Temari was laughing at us, though we payed her back because when we got here she had to put on a warmer shirt saying it was chilly." she laughed.
The two walked in a comfortable silence, that was one of the things they both loved about one another, the fact they could walk and enjoy what was around them and not have to make comments. They took comfort in the silence and each other's company. When they found themselves walking back towards civilization they both directed themselves to the empty Uchiha compound. Hinata knew that the silence of the compound was unlike the one they experienced on their walk. Sasuke was always saddened by it so she decided to speak up and divert his attention elsewhere.
"Sasuke."
"Hm?"
"Catch me if you can." She said as she ran out of sight.
Sasuke smiled he knew she was trying to distract him, and he couldn't love her more for it and he also couldn't have been happier when he found that as he chased her he could see different items of her clothing lying on the ground.
Sandals...
Coat...
Headband...
Pants...
Mesh shirt...
Until he came upon his bedroom were he realized she had stopped running he opened the door only to have Hinata, who was now only in a lacy black thong and matching bra sitting on his bed, take of her bra and throwing it at him. He smirked at the innocent look he received from the now topless Hyuuga. Oh this was going to be fun. he thought before closing his bedroom door for the night.
A/N: Alright I have quite a few more chapters of this written it's just a matter of posting them and all that, even though it isn't complete yet. I had originally written this on and got pretty far along in the story but then the site closed so know I have to fix certain things in all my stories I had posted there so it makes sense w/ 's lay out.
