Okay, I know Mandy is a friend of Joe Jonas in real life, but if I write a Jonas Brothers story, it will probably get deleted by gay people. I wouldn't want all of my hard work to go to waste, so I'm using Connect Three instead. Here is chapter 1 of the story, and I hope you love it!

Shane's POV

I climbed up the vine coming down from Mitchie's window. I knew it was the middle of the night, but I couldn't wait until the morning to see my beautiful girlfriend. I got to the top of the vine, and jumped on to Mitchie's patio. I tapped on the glass door leading into her room, hoping fervently that she would open it. If she didn't, I would have come all the way here for nothing.

I guess I was lucky that night, because the doorknob turned, and there stood Mitchie, looking as beautiful as ever. Seriously, I think I must have forgotten how beautiful that girl was, because I didn't know whether it was only me or not, but she seemed to be emitting some kind of glow.

"Shane? What are you doing here?" asked Mitchie, smiling while giving me an adorable confused look.

"I missed you too much, babe," I said, "I couldn't wait until morning to see you." I had been on tour for the last six months, and I had only gotten to talk to Mitchie over the phone, which didn't fill the emptiness I felt when she wasn't with me. I had missed her so much, it wasn't possible to describe my feelings in words.

Mitchie's smile grew bigger, and she said, "Well, do you want to come in?" I could see a mischievous look in her eyes. Oh, how I loved that look. It always meant something good for me. I nodded, and she stepped aside to let me in.

Mitchie's room looked exactly the same as it had when I had last seen it. The walls were painted dark purple, and there were posters of Connect Three (mostly me) everywhere. Her queen sized bed had the same comforter and sheets with the different shades of purple. Her dresser and nightstand were purple too. You could tell that Mitchie liked the color purple a lot.

She took a seat on her bed, and looked up at me. I smiled down at her. She really was beautiful. I wouldn't chose anyone in the world except for Mitchie. I loved her that much. I just hadn't told her yet. I was going to soon, but I wanted to make sure she loved me before I told her that I loved her.

"So... how was tour?" asked Mitchie.

I raised my eyebrows at her. She knew exactly how tour was; I had talked to her for hours every single day about it. She shrugged at me, indicating that she didn't know what to talk about. I grinned at her, showing her that I didn't plan on talking to her that much tonight. That was how Mitchie and I were. We didn't need to communicate to each other by talking. We could practically read each others' minds.

Mitchie bit her lip and said, "Shane, maybe we should play it safe. I mean, you have your purity ring, and..."

She looked at me worriedly. I smiled comfortingly at her, and sat down next to her on the bed. "Alright babe, if you don't feel at ease, then we can just talk, okay?"

Mitchie grinned at me happily. "That's why I like you so much, Shane. You're always so understanding."

I smiled on the outside, but I was secretly disappointed on the inside. I didn't want her to just like me. I wanted her to be madly in love with me, like I was with her.

We sat there for what seemed like hours, smiling at each other. Like I said before, we didn't need words to communicate. I was more at peace than I had been for months. Mitchie was my life, my soul. Take her away from me, and I'm nothing. Absolutely nothing. She couldn't come on tour with us because the public didn't know that we were dating, and it would be too suspicious if she did come. Jason had suggested that we disguise Mitchie as a boy so that the media couldn't cook up any rumors, but my mom and dad put their feet down. Mitchie wasn't too supportive of that idea either. I guess I couldn't blame her; I would hate to be disguised as a girl.

Our wordless conversation was rudely interrupted by my cellphone. I looked at the screen, and the flashing letters read JASON. I would have to remember to slap Jason on the head when I got home. I sighed and pressed talk, therefore ruining the perfect moment.

"Hello?" I said, running my free hand through my hair.

"Shane! You have got to come home now! We have a major emergency!" yelled Jason.

"What's wrong? Is Nick having a diabetes attack?" I asked worriedly. Jason sounded really frantic and scared. If Nick had a diabetes attack, it would cause an uproar, not only within our family, but the fans would go crazy.

"No, it's worse!" said Jason, "Come home!" He hung up.

My heart was pounding against my chest, and my breathing came out in great gasps. What was wrong? I needed to get home as fast as I could, but I didn't want to leave Mitchie. I guess I had no choice.

"Shane? What's wrong? Shane!" yelled Mitchie. She was obviously scared and worred out of her wits.

"J-Jason said that there's an emergency. I h-have to get there as fast as I can," I managed to mumble.

"Let's wake up my parents, Shane. They can drive us there," said Mitchie.

"Us?" I asked surprisedly.

Mitchie looked at me as if I were crazy. "Of course, us," she said, "If something is wrong at your house, I want to be there with you all of the way."

I felt my stomach do backflips as she said this. She was the kindest, sweetest girlfriends a guy could have. I thanked her with a sweet and passionate kiss on the lips. She deepened the kiss, and soon, we were in a full-fledged makeout session.

Wait a minute, what was I doing? My family was possibly in great danger, and I'm sitting (well, technically lying) here making out with my girlfriend? What was fucking wrong with me? Although, Mitchie was a great kisser. Wait a second, I have to get going!

"Mitch, we'd better go," I said, coming up for air.

"I'll wake my parents up," said Mitchie.

"No! Are you crazy?" I asked, "If your parents find out that I'm visiting you in the middle of the night, we'll both be in so much trouble!"

"Well then, how are we going to get to your house?" asked Mitchie.

"We'll walk," I said decidedly. It would take longer, but I didn't want to risk my relationship with Mitchie.

Mitchie thought about my proposal for a few moments, but then she put on her bunny slippers, and held out her hand for me to take.

I grabbed her hand and led her to her balcony. I motioned for her to climb down the vine first, but she looked up at me with a frightened look in her eyes.

"I can't do this Shane," said Mitchie, "Maybe we should wake my parents."

"Baby, I'm here for you. Just trust me, okay?" I waited patiently for her answer.

"Okay," Mitchie mumbled very quietly.

I helped her get on the vine, and then got on with her so I could guide her. We moved down very slowly. "Hand, hand, foot, foot." I whispered the pattern in her ear every few seconds.

Finally, we made it to the bottom. "Well, it's about time," I said jokingly.

Mitchie pretended to look hurt, and she turned away from me, pouting. I hugged her from behind, and buried my face in her hair. "But it was worth it." She turned around and gave me another sweet kiss, but I pulled away quickly. "We need to get going," I said. She nodded, and we walked to the front of her house.

We started to powerwalk on the sidewalk while holding hands. We needed to get to my house as fast as we could. My family was in trouble! I didn't know why I was being so calm, though. I guess being with Mitchie made me a calm person. Yet another reason to love her. The list was getting longer and longer.

After about ten minutes, we made it to the front of my huge house. At my request, Mom and Dad had bought a house in Mitchie's hometown so that I could spend more time with her.

"I don't see a fire or anything," said Mitchie. I shrugged, and we ran over to the front door. I rang the doorbell, but nobody answered. I looked over at Mitchie worriedly, and she started to rub my back comfortingly. I pulled out my keys and unlocked the door.

"Hello?" I called. No one answered my call. I was starting to get really freaked out. What was wrong?

"Do you hear that?" asked Mitchie suddenly. I stopped to listen. There seemed to be some sort of banging sound coming from upstairs. Maybe my family was being held hostage. I grabbed a broom as a weapon, and gave Mitchie a mop. We headed up the stairs as quietly as we could.

The sounds were coming from the attic. Mitchie and I climbed up the ladder, and were met by three figures that I didn't recognize. There were thieves in my attic! Thinking fast, I hit the closest one with my broom, while Mitchie hit another one with her mop. The thieves yelled out in pain. But the third one was still unhurt. I would take care of that.

I raised my broom to strike, and the thieves all yelled at the top of their voices simultaneously, "SHANE, YOU IDIOT!"
