Chapter 1 The Conversation
"Shun Bun Kun-dono!"
ShunBunKun turned eyes wide with awe and a little caution as he regard Shin standing behind him. Turning to face Shin he ask "Lord?"
Shin straighted up and summoned his courage "ShunBunKun-dono I have a request"
"A request? I had thought you had left already?" Stated ShunBunKun with a curious look on his face.
Shin looked him straight in the eye. "I spent all last night thinking about the path to Great General Of The Heavens and thought I must take any opportunity to improve myself so i came to ask. Is it true you once fought on the front line's?"
That surprised ShunBunKun of all things Shin could of asked that did not cross his mind. "Yes, I fought during the rein of King Sho and saw many battlefields"
Determination was set on Shin's face as he asked. "I seek to become the Greatest General under the heavens. My request is thus, Teach me warfare so that I may support Sei as his sword and shield"
At this ShunBunKun eye's narrowed in thought.'True we have Heki who has proven his competence but it was Shin who slew Sanji and even now I can feel Shin's martial aura. His potential is truly terrifying but I do not have the time to train him'
"I can not teach you warfare at this time. His Majesty's faction is preparing to face our true enemy but there is a Tactics and Strategy School in Qin that I could write a letter of recommendation to" ShunBunKun offered what he thought was a fair compromise.
Shin thought over the offer and could find no fault in it. His face split in to a grin. "I accept"
