Don Karnage was waiting for his men to come back from Cape Suzette with a lot of money, but when his men arrived they only had Rebecca Cunningham, the owner of Higher for Hire, and some cargo that came from her business. Karnage was very angry. "You call yourselves pirates," he yelled at the top of his lungs. "I wanted money, not this business lady and her cargo!" and he stormed off in anger.
Rebecca went to see him later that day to try to make a deal with him. "If you let me go, Karnage, I'll let you have the cargo," she begged, but he would not listen to her. "You just don't see what I plan to do with you, my dear," he sighed with a frown. That's when Rebecca lost her temper and yelled at him. "I want you to take me back to Cape Suzette right now, you crazy pirate. Do you hear me? You... psycho!"
There were two things that Don Karnage hated most of all—when someone mocked his name and when someone called him crazy. "Well, Ms. Cunningham, I hate when people call me crazy and for that...," he said with a growl, "I'm afraid you'll have to die!" Then he pushed her to the ground and as she tried to get up, he pushed the cargo on her. The cargo was full of chemicals that spilled all over her, then cooked the ground and buried her into the soil. Karnage laughed. "I guess she made grave mistake. Yes, no?" he said with an evil laugh, and walked away.
Meanwhile Baloo and Kit were in the Sea Duck, coming to save Rebecca from the pirates. "I would hate to think of what Karnage would do to Ms. Cunningham, Baloo," said Kit with concern. Baloo tried to make a joke. "It would be crazy if Rebecca was killed, but came back to life for revenge," he laughed weakly. Kit did not find his joke funny. "Come on, Baloo," he said with a frown. "When you die, you die. So let's save Rebecca before something bad happens to her." Little did they know that something bad did happen to her, but something worse was going to happen to Karnage.
Later, Karnage was talking on the phone in the work area where he killed Rebecca. "OK, Mad Dog, I want you and all the rest of my fellow pirates to look for a ship that is carrying gold, and then steal the gold," said Karnage as he hung up the phone. Suddenly, the ground rumbled with supernatural force, glowing with an eerie pink light. As he was inspecting the ground, it erupted, expelling Rebecca, who was in hibernation in a chemical cocoon. Rebecca bloomed with irresistible beauty and ivy twined around her body for clothes. Karnage was smitten by her charm and beauty. "You look great and especially for a dead woman," he exclaimed. Rebecca just smiled at him and said with a devilish, yet seductive smile on her lips, "Hello, Karnage, I won't forget what you tried to do to me, but I bear you no ill will."
Karnage was unable to resist her beauty as she walked up to him and drew him into a long, passionate kiss, just as Kit and Baloo arrived. After she pulled away from her kiss with Karnage, she then revealed the now-toxic nature of her lips to him. "Karnage, I should have told you that I'm poison and that I'm really to die for," said Rebecca with a giggle. Within moments he began to choke and fall to the ground, gagging and thrashing about wildly. Soon he was dead. "Well, Kit, she was right," said Baloo, with a look of shock on his face.
They got her some new clothes and flew back to Cape Suzette. Rebecca was taken to the best scientists in Cape Suzette and it took them weeks to reverse her toxic nature. When she was back to her old self, Rebecca put Kit and Baloo back to work shipping cargo.
