This is a new drabble idea I had a few days ago. I had sudden inspiration for it so I thought I'd pursue it and this is what I came up with.
Totally wrote this is like half an hour. It's kinda rushed and definitely un-betaed so I apologize in advance for any errors. I also apologize for any suckiness of this fanfiction.
This is rated PG for slash content. Safe to read around others. The pairing for this is Chad Ryan, my OTP of the moment.
Before Ryan and Chad found each other things were different. They were both focused on what meant the most to them. Prior to getting together, nothing else mattered.
Ryan absolutely adored the theater. Everything about it just brought such happiness into his life. The singing, dancing, acting. It was all so thrilling and captivating. He wouldn't give it up for the world.
Chad completely loathed the theater. There was nothing about it that he found interesting. There wasn't anything wonderful about it. It annoyed and bored him out of his mind. He didn't want anything to do with theater and if that was the case, he was happy.
But ever since he started dating Ryan, he reconsidered his previous opinion of the theater. Sure, it wasn't the most entertaining or fun thing in the world but he learned to tolerate it, even like it a little. But then again, any chance to see Ryan prances around in tight pants, showing off his perfectly-pitched voice was good enough reason for him.
Chad was so unbelievably passionate about basketball. Something was just so exhilarating running down the court, clock ticking and the crowd cheering. There was nothing Chad liked more than a heated game of basketball.
Ryan despised it. He didn't see how running around and tossing a ball into a hoop classified as talent. Anyone could do it. Not to mention it wasn't even the least bit interesting.
All that changed though when he first went out with Chad. The brunette had insisted he was needed at his game for "good luck." Ryan went, unable to say no, and found that it wasn't as bad as he initially thought. Besides, Chad running around all sweaty in baggy shorts wasn't exactly an eye sore.
Chad and Ryan didn't always see eye to eye. They definitely didn't like the same things. They completely redefined the saying "opposites attract." But none of that really mattered when they were together.
Things would always change over time. That was just how life was. But neither of them cared because at the end of the day, the one thing that mattered was being wrapped up in each other's arms, whispering their sweet love confessions.
Yeah, they'd come so far from where they used to be. But they didn't care because it was love that changed everything. And that's exactly how they wanted things to stay.
I hope you enjoyed my latest drabble and I hope the ending wasn't too cheesy. If you liked it or have any constructive criticism review and let me know!
