"Would you still like me if I looked like this everyday?"
"Oh gosh, not this again."
"Asnwer! Would you still like me if I looked like this?"
"Yes."
"Would you still like me if I wore purple socks without shoes?"
"Yes."
"Would you still like me if I had a boyfriend?"
"Yes."
"Would you still like me if I had green toes?"
"Yes."
"Would you still like me if I had a huge nose covered in pimples?"
"Yes."
"Would you still like me if I had no eyebrows?"
"Yes Joe."
"Lily, Would you still like me if I loved you?"
"..No."
Joe sat up from where he was lying on the floor, and stared at Lily. She slid off the couch and sat next to him.
"I wouldn't like you if you loved me. Not at all."
Joe couldn't take it. "Way to rub it in Lils. I mean I just admit there that I love you and you go and rub it in my face that you don't love me back and just whatever." He couldn't take her sitting that close, her mouth so close, knowing she wouldn't love him back. He rushed out of the hotel room.
He felt her hand slip into his. And force him to turn around. Then he felt her lips.
"I wouldn't like you if you loved me. I love you." She mumbled across his lips.
Joe smiled into it, "You're so corny."
She pulled away, "Would you still love me if I was corny?'"
His chest rumbled against hers, "Always."
Now I'm speechless over the edge I'm just breathless
Now I'm hopeless head-over-heels in the moment.
