Rose stood, her back against a wall that she desperately pushed against, hoping that somehow, she'd be safe. A Dalek had trapped her there, and she was alone. The Doctor had gone missing an hour earlier leaving the girl on her own. It had ended up like this.
"Exterminate!" the Dalek said in its rusty, robotic voice, and she watched in fear as the blue beam charged up, and flinched as it fired.
It never hit her. She stared in shock as a figure jumped in front of her, got shocked, and then dropped like a fly, a beam shooting out from something in the figures hand and destroying the Dalek,
It was the Doctor.
"Doctor!" Rose cried, rushing the his side. "Doctor, Doctor!" she yelled as the saw sparks jump from the mans body, his body jolting and shaking. He opened his eyes, his vision swimming and tears falling.
"R-Rose," he murmured, electricity bolting his body again, causing him to cry out in pain.
"Y-You're alive!"
"Force field.. n-not very st-" he yelled out in pain once more, "-rong," he finished, gasping for air.
"Are you going to live?" she asked, her voice shaky.
"I'm going to r-regenerate," he responded, "a-and then, we can g-go to Barcelona, finally," he said, smiling a bit.
Then Rose stumbled back as a bright, golden light burst from where the Doctor lay, and moments later, she saw a new face staring back at her.
"Hello." the Doctor said, smiling a smile that was passed on through each Doctor, no matter the image.
"Barcelona?" he asked, grinning.
