A/N 'ThatGamerPanther, three different fan fictions at once? You must be mental!' First of all, no I'm not mental, that's just rude. Second of all, in doing this because I really wanna make my mark on this website. I wanna show people that I can write fan fictions as well. Third of all, I love writing my fan fictions! So, welcome to Zelda's joy! (Crappy title I know) This is a Link x Zelda fanfiction that takes place after Calamity Ganon in Breath Of The Wild. So, do enjoy! By the way, more The Shining Sun is coming soon!

"Link! Go! Save yourself!" Zelda cried out to the swordsman in front of her. Link was covered in bruises from head to toe, leaking some blood from huge cuts. He looked dead, yet the hero had more inside of him. He clutched his legendary blade, black from the fire that destroyed the metal. "No, princess. I w-won't leave y-you." Link struggled to say. He picked himself up, pulling has blade from being stuck in the dirt to stand in the swordsman position. The Guardian he was fighting turned to face him, locking his red laser, preparing to shoot. Zelda tried to pull Link back, but Link pushed her down into the dirt. Just then, the laser fired, hitting Link square in the chest.

"No!" Zelda cried out, finally waking from her dream. She looked around the room. No Guardian, no dead Link. She sighed in relief as tears began to fill her eyes. She heard footsteps running down the hallway next to her door, when said door burst open, and Link fully clothed with his sword stood there. "Princess! Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?" Link asked. Zelda had seen an increase in Links strength in his mind and body, but also compassion since the Great Calamity hit Hyrule. "Yes Link. I am ok. Sorry to have worried you. It was just a nightmare." Zelda responded as she pulled her blankets back over herself. "Ok princess. Is there anything you would like me to do before I leave?" Link asked. "Yes please. Could you light my fire up again and...and...sing me a lullaby?" Zelda asked, slightly embarrassed that she was asking a hero to sing to her. "Of course, princess." Link responded. He lit the fire, then pulled up a chair and sat next to her bed. He cleared his throat, and began to sing to an ancient lullaby that was sung to Zeldas mother, and her mother before that. "Sleep real calm, let you dream till dawn. Let your worries flow away. Rest your head, may no words be said, that awake you from your sleep. Peace be with you tonight, as you blow out your light. Let there be peace within your mind. Rid of all your shame. Let your mind be tame, as you sleep upon your bed. Sleep real calm, let you dream till dawn. Let your worries flow away. Rest your head, let no words be said, that awake you from your sleep." Link had a beautiful singing voice which was known all around Hyrule castle. Zelda absolutely adored his voice, but only heard him sing when he was putting children to sleep for their parents. Zelda had wanted to hear a song for herself, and now she finally did. "Thank you, Link." Zelda said to him. "It was my pleasure, princess." He said as he bowed to her. "You may return to your chambers now." Zelda spoke last as Link nodded and headed to his own room in Hyrule castle. Zelda sat in her bed for a little while, as she had many thoughts in her mind. Why now did she dream this? Normally, here dreams would be trapped in the icky blackness of Calamity Ganon, but why tonight was her dream of Link dying?

She had no clue, and eventually went to sleep, waiting for the next day to arrive.
