The Marauders: Seventh Year
Sirius and James ran ahead of the latter's parents as they approached the wall to Platform 9 and 3/4. They sped past the barrier and as the magnificent station materialised, they stopped to take it in one last time. Someone ran straight into the both of them and James hit the floor with a loud crack.
Sirius doubled over in laughter and almost fell over when he realised it was Remus who hit them.
"Oh Merlin... James, you okay?" Remus grimaced and tried not to laugh as he helped up a rather embarrassed James.
"Remus you arse! How could you?!" He exclaimed, holding up his glasses that had been broken in half. Remus grinned apologetically and fixed them with a wave of his wand. Sirius was still bent over laughing, and Peter took this as an opportunity to creep up behind an unsuspecting Sirius and yell, "Boo!". Sirius jumped almost a foot in the air and tripped over his trunk. Remus grabbed him before he hit the ground. Sirius said,
"My hero!" As he sighed dramatically. Remus blushed a deep shade of red and shoved him towards the train.
"Hey, hey! Watch it Moony, I was only being friendly!" Sirius was distracted as James' mother and father appeared at the wall to the Platform. A loud whistle sounded as smoke began to cloud the Platform. James' mum pulled all four of the marauders into a motherly hug.
"Stay safe, my boys." She murmured. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs grinned at her and rushed off to find a seat on the Hogwarts express.
