Cause wolves are cute, and if Alois and Ciel could ever get together and have a kid, I'd reckon they'd name him Luka, just for Alois
"Ciel..." Alois whimpered, licking the pup curled between his paws. Ciel was out hunting in the harsh snowy lands they were to call home until summer came. They originally had a full litter, three boys and a girl, but three of the pups hadn't managed to survive due to Alois' poor diet and by the time he bore the litter, only Luka remained alive. Alois curled up round the pup more, giving it as much warmth as he could manage and continued to lick gently at it's russet fur. A shadow slinked through the den opening and curled up beside it's mate. Ciel huffed, annoyed, and Alois licked his muzzle gently. "No luck?"
"No scent whatsoever, Alois...I'm sorry..."
"It's fine, hopefully this winter ends quickly..."
"Three of our pups already died, I don't want to lose anymore of my family! My parents already died in that fire that killed my pack...I thought I'd lost every last bit of hope until you ran into me. I can't bear to lose you and Luka too..."
"I know...but we can't keep this up much longer... Ciel, if he doesn't make it to spring then-"
"He will, he has to Alois!"
"I-I know Ciel but..." the platinum sand coloured wolf sighed. Luka gave a small sneeze as he awoke and blinked sleepily at his parents. Alois looked down at the small bundle of russet fur. "Hello my little prince".
"Hello Luka, are you feeling alright?" the pup nodded and slipped away from Alois and stumbled over to Ciel to sit in front of him between his grey paws. "That's good. I'm sorry but I couldn't find any food tonight".
"It's alright Daddy, I know you and Papa try your best". the little reddish furred pup yapped, wagging his tail happily. "All that really matters is just us being together as a family".
Alois smiled as he watched the two begin to gently play with one another. Luka clambering over Ciel and eventually coming to rest on the older wolf's stomach in an attempt to pin him down. They'd be alright. Ciel would find food soon and Luka would grow up strong and healthy with them both until he was old enough to look for a mate of his own.
I'm not making a complete story out of it, I was bored and playing WolfQuest and just made this little drabble thing, sorry. Honestly, Luka is the most sincere and sweetest thing in the entire anime (even though Alois is my favourite character but whatever~). I love how he and Jim were with one another and how they did everything for one another, it was sweet as heck! And when you heard them reunite at the end, that had me sobbing so hard I was laughing at myself in the end. Okay, let's see. I cried when Luka died/Alois found him, I cried when Alois died (fuck you Claude, this is why people prefer Sebastian), and I cried when they reunited thanks to Hannah. And that whole thing with Ciel and Alois actually talking without mindlessly trying to make the other surrender to them was cute too...and then Alois' final wish in life was for Ciel's soul to never be eaten. How can people honestly say Alois is evil, cause there's no way in forever that someone will make me believe he is even 1% evil/a bad person.
I realised this a few days ago when I was watching the scene where he jabs Hannah's eye out (be thankful he didn't use the freakin' knife he had in his hand at that point!) and realised that he actually tricks her into looking at him just so he can punish her. And I like to think he actually likes the triplets since y'know, he does nothing to them whatsoever (Sebastian, that was a horrid way of killing them, they didn't even like Alois xD)
Ah, I'm sorry, I like to ramble in my author's notes about particular characters/scenes within the anime - for those who don't know me ^^;
