The library slowly opened as a girl stepped in and walked down an aisle of history books. Her eyes scanned for an interesting book to read. The next class won't start until seven minutes.
A small black book caught her attention. The cover didn't have any inscriptions or decorations- just a small black leather book which, in her opinion, looks like a diary. She wasn't sure why did the book seems so interesting, but she felt like it was calling for her, telling her to open it. Feeling intrigued she took the book, moved to a small, nearby table, and opened it... only to be greeted by a blank sheet.
She flipped to another page, and another, and another, but the pages were all empty. Sighing, she stood up from her chair and turned to the shelf, but a boy taller than her was standing there, observing her.
They stared at each other for sometime before the boy greeted her. "Hello," he said.
"Hi," she responded.
"I'm Tom," the boy introduced. "Who are you? I've never seen you before."
"Hermonie," the girl replied as she held out a hand.
Tom cocked his head to one side as he looked at it before shaking the hand slowly.
"I guess we are from different classes," she continued, inspecting the newcomer.
Tom shrugs, "Perhaps."
Noticing the time, she quickly went around him and kept the book back in the shelf, grabbed her bag and ran for the door. She stopped and turned, "I have to go. It was nice meeting you," she said before she disappeared from his sight.
"Hermonie..." Tom repeated her name as he stared at the closed door. He softly laughed to himself and shook his head with a smile.
Author's Note:
This is my first Tomionie FanFiction. For now it shall stay as a one shot. If it is good, I might turn it into a multi chapter. (: Hope you enjoyed it! Please leave a review. ^^
