Note: This is an AU fic that starts at year 1. Also Voldemort is dead in
this and is not coming back. Finally this focuses less on Harry and co.
but more on the transfer students (you will understand in a moment)
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Harry Potter characters. I do however
own the characters I come up with so if anyone would like to use them in a
Harry Potter fic than please ask.
Chapter1: Strange Events
Saradin's POV
The world around me was full of white mist, cold, damp, and full of light. The place I found myself in could have been pleasant if not for the cold and dampness. I was puzzled about why I knew it was damp for I was fully clothed, I was touching nothing, and the white mist was warm and comforting. This was a magical place my mind told me but my heart told me this place was not real. Having gained enough courage I slowly and cautiously moved forward. After what seemed to be an eternity I came to a giant black wall. It had what seemed to be hundreds of carvings of humans, animals, angels, and demons. Out of the hundreds of carvings one caught my eye even though it was no different from the rest. It was a man with bone wings that had a few feathers here and there. It then suddenly came alive. It pulled itself from the wall and as it did it's stone body became flesh. Once it had pulled itself free it looked at my with a small grin and asked, "Who are you?"
Stunned, amazed, and most of all terrified of what was going on I managed to say my name, "S-Saradin W-Wolfheart"
It turned and looked at the wall and whispered, "What do you want?"
I had thought it brought me here but it asked like I came here for something. I had a feeling that if I asked a question I would get no response so I answered, "I don't know, I don't even know why I'm here"
The winged man stood there for several minuets without moving an inch before he asked another question, "Where are you going?"
I had grown quite comfortable around the man and was starting to talk more casually, "I don't really know"
He then turned to me with the same smile on his face, "Who do you serve and who do you trust?"
Before I could respond the mist and wall disappeared revealing a dark and evil landscape. On one side of me was a dieing forest so dense it would be impossible to enter and on the other side a large hill. I had no choice but to go up the hill and what I saw startled me. A giant black castle floating over a lake that seemed to radiate white light. I thought I felt a presence behind me so I turned around to find the same strange man behind me. He spoke softly and slowly, "To find the truth seek out this place with those you can trust"

Saradin awoke from his dream remembering nothing. He rarely remembered his dreams. He started his day normally; he rolled out of bed (literally), threw some clean clothes on, and slothfully makes his way to the kitchen. His mother, Dana, must have been on another health food diet because breakfast was a tofu sandwich and a tall glass of soymilk. Putting the meal in front of her son she said, "Come on. Dig in." "Mom, four words for you. No way in hell", was the only response he gave.
Normally she would have grounded he son for that but she knew he was always a mean and sarcastic asshole in the mornings. "Mr. Bladeback next door agreed to take you, Trance, Tragule, and Trazule out to Spirit Ally to buy your school supplies", she said in an attempt to make him less grumpy.
"When do I leave?" he said.
"In about two hours", she replied.
"Ok", said Saradin as he left the table.
Ok so how was Ch.1?
Please R&R.
Note: Harry and Hogwarts will appear in future chapters.
