This is a cute little story I came up with after the who-knows-how-many-times-I've-watched-this-movie.
Anyway, hope you like it?!
I own none of these characters.
"Then why do I feel like he's the only person on this boat who wants to be here?" Fury's words echo in Loki's mind. He was standing in the glass cage, smiling like an idiot. This is perfect. He was one step closer to ruling these pathetic mortals. He was still slightly dazed from the encounter with his 'brother'. It was a nice little reunion, until the man of iron came and ruined it. Loki couldn't quite grasp the idea of the name, though. There wasn't any iron in it at all. Their fight was exhilarating to watch from his little perch on the cliff. Then came the super soldier. Loki sat and just watched the show.
So close to ruling, so close. Just one teeny-tiny problem, though, he was trapped. Fury gave him a little tour of his room, and all it's little gadgets. Loki wasn't leading an army from here, just like they said. It was an impressive cage, but not built for him. For something a lot stronger than him, oh he's heard. The beast. That was his ticket out. But how to make it show its face, how.
Barton. Loki can contact Barton and Selvig without speaking. 'Barton.' He thought. 'Sir?' Barton responded. 'I have an idea.' Loki told him of his master plan. 'Its a done deal, be there in a bit.' 'I'm counting on you.' Loki warned. 'I won't let you down, boss.'
Loki had his back turned to his 'viewing area'. What a day. He stood there for a moment, and then smiled. "Not many people can sneak up on me." He complemented and turned to face the spy. They had a lengthy conversation about her red ledger, and Barton. She demanded to know what he was going to so with him once he's done. So he told her. "Not until he kills you. Slowly, intimately, in every way he knows you fear. He'll wake just long enough to see his work, and when he screams, I'll split his skull! That is my bargain you mewling quim." He spat at her. "You monster." She whimpered. "No…you brought the monster." He replied with a sly smile. "Banner. So that's your play." She regained her composure to tell the others. "Loki's plan is to release the hulk." She spoke into her earpiece. "Thank you, for your cooperation." She added as she left him standing there. Damn. There went the surprise. But there was still Barton's side of the plan. That would work just as well. Just as well.
There, little, I told you. Tell me what you think!
