Master Tigress was many things but, there was one thing she was not. A push-over, if people wanted something she did not want to give she'd refuse, if someone needed an autograph she'd deny the request, but if Po did his signature puppy dog face? She'd give him anything in the world. This did not mean she was weak by any means, as the other masters had tried to use "The face" on her and failed. Only Po could perform such a feat that would make the great Master Tigress do whatever he asked. Po of course did not use this to his advantage but, he liked it when she would say no to anyone but him, it made him feel special.
The Valley of Peace was wide awake, everyone was on the move as it was the Dragon festival today. All through the town there was laughing and happiness. Up in the Jade Palace, the masters were going to enjoy the festival as well, except for Tigress. She did not think they should be wasting time going to a festival that would come every year, when they could be training. But the students of the Jade Palace would not give up easily.
" Gosh, come oooon Tigress live a little, will ya?" Mantis complained.
Tigress turned away stubbornly, not wanting any part of the charade.
Crane decided to try next, " You always train, you deserve a break." He stated.
" I said no, my answer is final." Tigress replied firmly, leaving no room for negotiation.
" Please sister, Crane is right, you need this." Viper pleaded, not wanting to leave her behind.
Tigress kept walking towards the exit, not stopping for anyone, that
is until she heard a soft pleading voice behind her.
" Please Tigress, it won't be the same without you," Po said, Tigress turned her head a little in his direction, Po took this as a good sign and continued. " come on Ti, I-I want y-you there." He finished, stuttering towards the end because of the way his words sounded.
Tigress was now blushing, though you couldn't see it through her red fur, Po however, was not lucky enough to have dark fur and you could see his blush clear as day. Tigress turned all the way around to face her friends. Monkey could see Tigress was effected by Po's request and encouraged her.
" Aww, come on Tigress look at his poor little panda face." He said in a sympathetic tone. Soon all the students caught on and were using Po to their advantage.
" Yes, Tigress look, he wants you to be with him. He won't have fun without you there." Viper added, knowing Tigress was having a hard time saying no.
Then Po did something that set both the masters and Tigress off. He lowered his head, stuck out his lip slightly and looked up. Everyone in the room was speechless at how completely adorable the Dragon Warrior could be. Even Shifu found the face cute, and that was saying a lot.
" Please Ti, I just want you there with me." He said in an endearing tone, finally making Tigress lose all control that her training had given her.
" Of course I'll come!" Tigress yelled after holding it in for so long.
Po jump up and ran over to her, bobbing with excitement, " Really? You'll come? Oh thank you thank you thank you!" Po cheered, grabbing the tiger into a hug. Tigress was shocked at first, but then she smiled and chuckled, patting Po on his back to show she accepted the hug. They stayed like this for a while until, Master Shifu cleared his throat, the two immediately let go of each other, laughing nervously.
" Well, are you two lovebirds coming or what?" Master Shifu said, suprising all his students.
" Uh.. coming Master." Po replied, Tigress' paw in his own, and following the group to the festival.
