"His face. That's all I can see behind my eyes. "I have so see his face again..I have to." I stood trembling in the blue field of grass outside the main gate. "Have you returned to us? We miss you, Naruto and I.. we love you. Please, let me see you." I scan the field of radiant grass, blossom trees raining petals and lavender smears lay all throughout, my eyes flooded with tears as they nearly blind me. I saw a shadow at the foot of one of the trees, i could sense his chakra there. My heart beat hard as i ran to him, and there he was. I fell to my knees infront of my dark Shinobi love.
"Sasuke.. let me heal you." I reached out to him, and a cold hand grabbed my wrist firmly. He glared at me with those black eyes, clood streams down his face like tears. Full of hate. Full of sorrow, i could always see the sorrow.
"Sakura… why did you come for me? I told you not to follow me. Three years of me not coming back, three. You should have never looked for me. I came here because i want you to stop it. I don't love you, Sakura. I dont. You dont love me either, and if you think you do, it has to stop. You have to let me go..." He let go of my wrist and braced himself on the blossom tree.
"You know, thats the most youve ever said to me." I took a step toward him. "I get it." He looked at me with vague suprise.
"Sasuke...i dont pity you..
Sasuke grabbed my shoulders and shook me ferociously.
"Wake up! Wake uppp!" He screamed at me, i looked at him with disbelief.
"You need you wake up Sakura!"
"Wake up Sakura!"
His voice was no longer his own, it was Narutos.
"Holy shit Sakura, wake the fuck up!"
Sasuke was gone, the grass, the blossoms, and the smell of lavender were gone. I shot my eyes open to see Naruto standing above me, his hands on my shoulders.
"Sakura! Wake up! Come on nows not the time to be sleeping around, you have an interrogation to do!"
"Oh. It was just a dream. But it seemed so… real. Must be that interrogation freaking me out, its been three years, now, finally.."
Naruto's voice was clearly acting as my alarm clock. I couldn't take much more of his frantic screaming.
"NARUTO, IM AWAKE!" I aimed a punch at his left arm.
"To slow!"
He grabbed my arm and pinned it above my head, hovering above me, he and pressed his lips on my cheek. I twisted my body to his, and looked into his eyes. "I love you too. You blond headed, 17 year-old, Hokage wanna-be, idot." His face was warm and his eyes were so beautifully blue, always so happy to see me , and as usual this put an instant smile on my face.
"C'mon Sakura, coffee." He let go and walked off to my kitchen.
I let out a long sigh, attempting to wake myself up. I hesitantly glared at my clock. To my surprise, it was only 8 am, and the interrogations at 10, I thought it would be much later considering Naruto's habit of sleeping ridiculously late. "i think he just woke me up cause he missed me."
"You're sure up earlier than usual." I grinned at him as I caught eye of the Ichiraku ramen on my table, complete with eggs, toast and bacon.
"Hey I woke up before you, ya'know! I wanted to make sure I was up a while before.. I have to be there too ya know, and i want to considering…"
There was a short pause between us. The suspect. Sasuke. Just yesterday we had finally gotten him back to the village. Sasuke had seemed completely bent on destroying the Hidden Leak village. Why is still a mystery. But that's what the interrogation was for I suppose...
Naruto had a sad expression when i looked up at him. He thought of Sasuke as a brother, so this was all very hard on him. I smiled at him and grabbed his neck softly. I pressed my lips against his. He wrapped his strong arms around my back, returning my kiss. Naruto picked me up and put me on the counter...
"Ah!" Sai screamed as he opened the door.
"Yo, dickless, ugly. I smell coffee."
Naruto threw my pillow at Sai with a mischievous smirk on his face.
"You need to work on that aim." Sai randomly let out at sigh of relief.
"Any later and who knows what I would've seen.."
I blushed at the thought Sai was picturing. I tried to break the awkward conversation.
"Well good morning to you to Sai."
"Yea, yea. Sorry to interrupt your little fuck-fest but Team 7 has been instructed to attend the interrogation."
Sai put on that smile. Ugh. I really hated that smirkish little smile of his.
"You're just jealous, i bet you've never got to second base." I giggled, attempting to piss him off.
Apparently I was successful.
"You know, maybe i have."
"Yea, with a man maybe."
"Disgusting. And this is coming from the girl that made out with Ino at that fire party.."
"So? Sai, what are bases?"
"I havent read about those yet.."
"Oh my god!"
I had just started to noticed Naruto's gasping laughter in the kitchen. I giggled to myself at Sai's distruction in that round.
"Sai, you want breakfast? I think Naruto got takeout…" I turned to see Sai sulking.
"ugh! Fine im SORRY ok?"
"and?"
"im sorry for calling you gay."
"And?"
"I would be lieing!"
"hn!"
"fine! Sai has been to second base! Happy?"
I pushed back a giggle. For once Sai seemed to be over himself and nodded. Team 7. As far as im concerned, there will always be one Sasuke, but always four in this team. Sasuke...
