Author's Note:
Fable 3 is a video game created by Lionhead studios. Most of the characters in this story belong to them.
Now, to give some backstory:
When I started this, it was only a few short stories that I wrote in my spare time. With some encouragement, I have decided to finish the story. I ran full speed with. Not only did I write a story within what Lionhead had already created, I decided to take it one step further and shape my own characters and plot. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. And I really hope I managed to capture the essence of the characters we all fell in love with while playing Fable 3.
Another reason I chose to continue with this story is that I don't really have any love stories. I do write and am working on a science fiction novel. And I also have a piece on the side I've put some thought into. But I don't have anything that really sparks the heart. Not as far as love goes, anyway. When I played Fable 3 I was disappointed Ben was not a romancable option. Upon thinking about it further, I wondered what it would have been like. And thus, I put it on paper. It makes me happy to write about love. And to actually have a story that has a happy ending, even if there were a few troubles on the way.
I feel like this story is still completely finished. But I've held onto it long enough and it isn't fair to keep it from you any longer. I would have had this out soon around October. But Destiny came out and I got distracted. Aaaaand then Dragon Age: Inquisition came out and I got super distracted. Pretty sure I don't have to say more than Cullen, amiright?
