(This is supposed to be when Rukia was a little girl, and Byakuya and Hisana were teenagers.)

It was one cool, Spring morning, when I woke up. For some reason, I had the urge to go outside for a walk. And of course, I did so. But while I walked, I was surprised to see my Nee-san, Hisana, watching a boy train. Who was he, and why did she stare at him?

Silently, I ran up to her, my footsteps barely heard as my feet brushed against the grass. When I was only a few feet from her, I could tell that my Nee-san was blushing, and she had a cute smile on her face. I wonder what she was thinking?

"There you are, Nee-san!" I smiled, blinking when she shushed me. "Shhh!" She whispered, her index finger to her mouth. "Quiet, Rukia." She smiled. I could tell she wasn't trying to be mean, she just didn't want the boy to notice us.
"Who is he?" I asked softly, a curious look on my face.
She sat down on my right and looked back at him. "His name is Byakuya Kuchiki." She told me.
I crouched down next to her, sitting close. "Byakuya?" I blinked again, and she nodded.
"Isn't he cute?" She asked for some reason, as if she was thinking out loud; talking to herself instead of me. I saw her cheeks turn red again, and heard her giggle softly.
"I guess..." I mumbled, but it wasn't like I really knew what to say; I was just a little kid, after all.
She sighed happily and continued to watch the boy, and I, too, looked at him. Why was he so distracting to my Nee-san? She seemed to watch him a lot. I had caught her doing so a few days ago, but didn't ask about him until today, because now, he was becoming interesting, even to me.

But after a few more minutes, he stopped his training, and entered his house. It was then that Nee-san stood up and looked at me, asking, "Ready to go home, Rukia? It's time for breakfast."
I nodded cutely and pushed myself to my feet, taking her hand in mine, and we walked home.

The day passed quickly after that, and before I knew it, it was nighttime.
Hisana talked to me for a bit before I went to sleep that night; she told me a story, and kissed my forehead.
But when she left, I could have sworn I heard the front door to our house slide open. So I got up and climbed over to my window, looking outside. I saw Hisana walk up to that 'Byakuya' boy she had told me about earlier; the boy we watched train this morning.
My eyes went a bit wide with curiousity when he kissed her cheek, and I wondered why he did that. I could hear the sounds of their voices, but I couldn't understand what they were saying, so I ran out of my room and stopped in the front doorway, listening to them.
I guess they had been dating for awhile? Or so Nee-san said. But I didn't really know what she meant by that.

Hisana and Byakuya walked over to the Cherry Blossom tree outside our house, and sat against it, side-by-side. Then they looked up at the sky, admiring the moon and the stars, talking about how beautiful they were; but I had to think: 'Nothing is more beautiful than my Nee-san, and simple stars cannot compare!'

After awhile of watching them, I began to get tired. I should have been asleep right now, not spying on my sister and her 'boyfriend'; whatever that was.
But I couldn't help it. I was just a curious little kid, wondering what my sister was up to. So what if I watched her sit beside Byakuya, talking about the night?
So what if I had just seen them kiss- Wait, kiss!
My eyes went wide again as I watched Hisana slowly lean towards Byakuya, closing her eyes. I was suprised to see her lips gently press up against his; how long had she known him!
And how long WILL she know him...?

(End.)
