HAND IT TO ME
Even after he was gone, George would never forget.
The Weasley clock had several hands. The hands were Molly, Arthur, Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny. Home, hospital, work, school, traveling, dentist, mortal peril, and death were it's locations. The only locations any hands had been on for more than a year were traveling, mortal peril, work, and home. Occasionally, a hand would skim over death, then flicker back to mortal peril. Ginny's hand flickered back and forth for hours. George's too. Charlie's hand often did, as working with dragons was very dangerous. Fred's hand never did flicker. It was always safe until the war. But it never flickered off mortal peril. It simply zoomed to death. And after years and years, it still stayed there. George found it troubling. His twin was dead, but the hand was still there. One by one, the Weasley's died. When they died, their hands reached death. When all the hands reached death, the clock disappeared. But Fred's clock hand didn't. And they never found out quite why.
Just a very short story, barely a paragraph. But it's my first whack at Harry Potter so don't be to harsh.
